I am really not sure how when I scrolled down, I saw positive reviews. I played this game for nearly an hour, and felt like I ran in circles chasing something that wasn't there, LIKE A GHOST. The mechanics in this game make me sick to my stomach as well. I've never wanted to play a game less after walking for 5 seconds and wobbling with such terrible screen shake. I think I would have more fun in the middle of a tsunami trapped on a cargo ship than playing this sickening simulator they call horror. Super spooky game I guess if you don't care to take 10 hours of your life to unlock a single lock, to go to another lock, to then find a key to another lock, which leads to three more locks, that probably lead to another locked door. Lock after lock after lock, and the only scare I got was a tall slim man walking past my screen for literally 1 second. Couldn't recommend this any less. I honestly think I'd prefer to play Smite at this point, and Smite is actually one of the worst games I've ever played in my days of the online video game scene.

You may be getting to the end of this review wondering, why did this loser write an entire essay for this $35 game he refunded. Well, because I'm out of content, and needed to entertain my braindead viewers while I waited to play Fall Guys. So instead of promoting my Twitch like a loser, I'm going to instead promote, PLAYING A DIFFERENT HORROR GAME. FIND SOMETHING DIFFERENT. THIS GAME ISNT IT. TAKE YOUR $35 ELSEWHERE.

Such a breath of fresh air to the survival genre. Great mix of PvP and PvE inside of a pretty large map that has a lot of variety. The bosses in the game also give a great mechanic for getting new abilities and being able to craft more new things after each boss. While it may be a linear progression, it's not hard to fight these bosses with a group of people or a couple of friends. For the most part, if you aren't on a full loot server, the vast majority of people don't kill on sight which is nice, and you are able to actually make some friends and kill some bosses together in game with other clans.

As far as a full loot server, I only had one experience with one and I was hit offline after killing someone and taking their loot, so I didn't go back to full loot!

I'll be continuing to play the game and I hope they keep updating and adding new things as it is in early access. True potential for a new game that's $20. Feels like it has more effort put in than some newer AAA titles as of late.

Make sure to close launcher while the real game is downloading. Very glad I took that advice and got a refund because this game feels like a very unfinished and underdeveloped FPS. This style just doesn't feel right in any capacity.

I'd say nearly every aspect of this game has improved from the first. The combat has improved, with more ways to fight than before, and it feels very smooth. Parkour is the same way, more abilities, more things that make the environments more fun and give a good new take on the parkour adding the stamina system. Without spoiling anything, in my opinion the story isn't as bad as some people have made it out to be, but there are some flaws in the story that are a bit frustrating. As far as the choices that have been introduced, I would say there are only about a handful of decisions that could really change the outcome of the end. Many of the choices offer a benefit at the very moment, and not so much changing the outcome of the game.

Now, as far as bugs and glitches go, I would say I got pretty lucky and didn't encounter any throughout my entire play through UP TILL THE VERY END. (WOULD LIKE TO ADD THAT I INITIALLY HAD THIS GAME INSTALLED ON HDD. IT RAN TERRIBLY. SWITCHED TO SSD AND THE GAME PERFORMED 10x BETTER AND WAS MUCH MORE STABLE FRAMES.) I had 2 black screens occur during the end of the game when cut scenes were supposed to start, but instead got a black screen, while it is frustrating, after waiting for a few minutes the bug did fix itself. I played it entirely single player on my first play through so I can't speak for bugs existing within the co-op play of the game.

Overall I'd give the game a 8/10. Very great game that improved from the first and a story that I personally enjoyed. Once they fix some of the loading errors like black screens, this will turn out to be a very good game.

Overall, this game has a lot of potential. Its got good gun play, good movement, good graphics, all great.
Before anything, people complaining about the anti cheat don't know ♥♥♥♥, its already fixed, that's not even an issue as every game on the market now has this same kind of anti cheat to prevent people from hacking in their game :)

One downside, loading times are incredibly long, like, take longer than any game should ever take. Performance could be optimized a bit more as the game does lag a bit when moving and jumping on certain objects. A lot of roof camping in this game but not much you can do about that as the main mechanic allows you to climb up every building. Games are quick and the map size feels good. The things in the game called "Entity's" should in my opinion just be removed lmao, they do way to much damage and should just be replaced with keeping the high loot areas instead of having these aimbot AI on the map that will literally put you down half hp if you even peek them. If the developers actually update the game frequently and fix some issues the game has, I can see it turning out to be a really good game but for now, it's really just another BR with a few unique mechanics that do make it fun.

In my one hour of playing Biomutant, I could already tell this wasn't worth the $60 and refunded it. For a game that wants you to be able to make your own decisions, and go your own path, they do everything they can to let you do exactly NOT that. It is literally impossible to follow along with anything that is going on because not a single character speaks any language on this planet. The way they thought to make this game immersive, was to have a man who has one of the most annoying voices I've ever heard, narrate everything that goes on. Cut scene, dialogue scenes, in the time I played this game, I did everything but play the game. Maybe the game gets better as you keep going, but it's just not possible for me to follow along with a game that does such a poor job of getting across any sort of storyline at all.

Disappointed, and definitely not worth $60.

Grateful this game came out in a time where true co-op games have been very far and few between. One being "A Way Out" (which was a fantastic game) and now "It Takes Two" being the two games that stick out in my mind for co-op games in recent memory. I'd say as far as story goes, A Way Out takes the better of the two for me, but the gameplay in this game is just overall so much more fun. This game is much more gameplay driven than story, but that's not to say that this game doesn't have a great story.

Also, the Friends Pass, amazing. Glad they added something like this so that both parties didn't have to spend $40 dollars to play together, BUT, its very worth the $40 dollars, just split it with you're friend.

It's a 10/10 from me. Fantastic game. Best co-op experience I've had in a long time along with A Way Out. Highly recommend both games, as they are from the same Dev team.
