BIG LIBERTY, MUCH MANAGED DEMOCRACY.

I've spent multiple hours playing this game with randoms, friends, and even solo. Each experience was enjoyable - I actually enjoy playing Quick-plays and have met many fellow Divers that enjoy the chaotic survival and hordes of enemies - with multiple friendly-fire casualties of course.

Once you unlock every weapon and ship upgrade via requisitions & samples, most would assume you don't have much to gain from playing after that. While yes, they don't have anything new to unlock after level 20 at the moment, there are still cosmetics and guns to unlock via the multiple non-expiring "battle-passes" they have. It should be noted beforehand that you don't have to use REAL $$$ to buy these passes, because you can actually earn the needed currency in-game by opening beacons during the mission.

The only CON I could see some people would have, is that there are multiple guns that are blocked behind these battle-passes, being the only way to gain them is using real $$$ or playing hours at times to grind out the needed "Superbucks".

Played a good amount of the 1st one, but I definitely love this one more!

This Sequel has all the cute combat & pet-puns you grew to love in the 1st one, but adds dogs & the ability to play co-op which makes this game 10x more fun. Definitely recommend for a cozy couch co-op or as a great simple single-player, pun-filled, hack-n-slash game that doesn't take a lot of brain power.
