Stalker 2 is brilliant, there are a few issues that the devs are aware of and since the first patch it's already better and you can tell the devs want it to be right.

I think in a few months the game will be even better than it already is.

Chill af and visually brilliant.

Good game, relaxed and can just go at your own pace and there's a story that works that they didn't even have to bother with if they didn't want to.

Skill based matchmaking ruins this game completely.

Had fun with decently challenging games, but after a point you reach lobbies where it's nothing but people laying prone in corners waiting for people to go past and unless you want a respawn simulator just don't bother.

Didn't realise that playing well means you get put with people that actually use less features of the game while the people who actually use the movement system get dropped for actually moving around.

I'd just do the same as them but it's not even fun to do, it's boring as ♥♥♥♥ and I'm not a ♥♥♥♥♥.

I use it for FiveM it's easy to use and does what I need.

This remaster is brilliant, it looks better than I expected and is the kind of quality I would expect from a new release game. Everything I loved about this game in 2006 is still here and it's just better in every way. The save system seems better and it just feels like they really cared about making this a success.

The actual game still is something different from other games. There are a lot of games where you take in a loadout but none come close to how this game feels and plays.

It's got negative reviews because with the update the UI is even worse than it was before somehow, but eventually you'll manage to equip what you want and yes there's some performance issues they need to iron out but if you can look past the UI and performance issues right now it's a great game and still under-rated.

It's alright but does a terrible job explaining stuff like stances, focus points, will, basically all the stuff they should tell you, you have to find stuff out for yourself and you probably shouldn't have to figure it out for yourself, it's core mechanics.

It has the same problem games like Nioh has where it's clearly just artificially difficult, you can fight a boss and they're not really difficult but they'll have a move that's never telegraphed and does stupid damage and there's really no shot for you to dodge it. Also areas filled with enemies and then just 50 archers to shoot you at the same time, it's a mess.

I'm still going to play it and finish it, it's fun at times and looks amazing but in all honestly it's worth buying at a lower price, and you should probably play something like Lies of P instead because you'll have a better time and it won't run like ♥♥♥♥ randomly either. Certain areas will be 60+ fps all the time, then mid-fight drop below 60 and it will cost you. (To be clear, my PC has no issues with the majority of games, and I've never had an issue with any souls-like).

TLDR - It's alright, does a bad job explaining basic stuff, buy play Lies of P instead if you never played it, it's far better.

This game doesn't deserve the amount of hate it's getting, it gets compared to L4D, it's not L4D, it's inspired by it sure but it's got it's own thing with the card system, and it's actually a lot of fun with friends, don't let the reviews put you off, I got it for 90% off and can't complain.

Only thing I can say is I wish there was more map variation and more campaign because that's the part I enjoy the most, they say no run is the same but you don't really feel that way when you replay it. Even with that said it's fun to play and I'm happy, ignore the review bombs.
