It's good. You can make it even better by downloading mods. It's one of those PC must-haves that everyone knows and loves. I don't think anyone truly hates this game.

This game is not deep. It just isn't. But Persona 4 Golden is still one hell of a good and nostalgic time. The main cast of characters, while being glorified anime tropes at best, are still lovable and relatable characters regardless. Kanji Tatsumi and Naoto Shirogane are my personal favorites and the ones I could relate most to. The story is pretty unremarkable (it's really some Scooby Doo mystery kinda ♥♥♥♥), but it works for what it is. The gameplay, while it can be pretty repetitive at times (especially in dungeons), is easy and harmless enough that it becomes a good time waster. I will say that Persona 4's gameplay really makes you feel like you're truly intimate with the town of Inaba, though--something I can't say Persona 5 made me feel about its take on Tokyo. The soundtrack keeps up with typical Atlus standards and is absolutely phenomenal. It's on Spotify and I often listen to Persona 4's OST when I'm working on something and need background noise.
Persona 4 wears its "anime game" label with pride, and I would recommend it to other people regardless of whether or not you like anime. Pretty great JRPG overall and a classic. I didn't have the luxury of being able to play the original on the PS2 unfortunately (or the original Golden version on PSVita, but honestly who bought the Vita?), so I'm glad I can play it now on PC. Go play this game if you haven't already!
Also, PORT PERSONA 3 FES TO STEAM!!

One of the best walking simulators I've ever played. It is a bit unrealistic and annoying how quickly you can die of starvation or thirst (which could force new players to only stick to buildings), but once you stack up on food and water it doesn't become much an issue. The early game is very repetitive. Once you get the hang of the game, though, it's pretty good. You truly feel alone in this world and that everything is out to kill you; what you think is a short drop from a rock could actually end your run. I didn't get that far in the story mode campaign, but it works fine for what it is. It's pretty harmless. Good sound design, good environments, pretty solid experience overall. Not one of the best games I've played, but I would be lying if I said I didn't enjoy it. I would recommend it to other people who also somehow enjoy walking simulators like I do.

I hate this game. That's why I can't stop listening to the soundtrack and now adore the Sonic franchise,

Little hard to control the drone when you use custom keys, but you get used to it after a while. I reccommend this game for people that have an engineering mind and love crashing drones.
Also, huge thanks to Philomena Schwab (a developer from Stray Fawn) for giving this game to me!

Deep in the heart of... actually, I'm not sure, THE DOG gets an Email!
"hey friend," Ashtrom said. "im giving random gifts out so have this lol"
THE DOG was determined by this Email. She fired up the game quickly... to find strategy and disappointments!
"This animation..." THE DOG stammered, "it's so cheap but oddly enjoyable!"
And thus, The Legend of Zelda THE DOG ends here...
Did you like it? I'm pretty sure you didn't, but I couldn't think of anything better.

So, yeah. This game is obviously for cat lovers. I, myself, am actually a dog lover, and have no interest in getting a cat, so it was interesting going into this game. 'The Purring Quest' is a side-scroller game where you are a cat trying to find their owner again. On the way, you can rescue other cats, defeat enemies, and collect... dead fish. Ok. That's awfully simple, but do you know what isn't?

Should I buy this?
X No!
X No, even if there is a sale!
X Yes, if there is a sale!
X Yes!
✓ Other:
ONLY IF YOU LOVE CATS!

If you don't love cats... I'm not sure what to tell you. I think you'll get pretty bored quick.
I'm trying to beat this statement to death, this game is exclusively for CAT LOVERS. Also, I think you should only buy this if you have a controller, but we’ll get into that in a bit.

What are the graphics like?
X Looks like a cheap iPhone app!
X Low-Quality
✓ Okay
X Good-Quality
X IT'S SO GOOD MY EYES ARE CRYING TEARS OF BEAUTY!

The graphics looks similar to… I’d say flash or Korean animation. It probably is. You can tell in the opening animation was cheap, but then again, the graphics have some sort of charm to them. Also, people with sucky computers, listen up! This game runs very smoothly on bad computers, as I have one myself.
Edit: the animation is hand-drawn, which is surprising to me.

What about gameplay?
X TERRIBLE!
X At least it's playable!
X Okay
X Good
X BEST GAMEPLAY EVER!
✓ Other:
I HATE THE CONTROLS! But the aspect is okay.

I am not usually the biggest fan of side-scroller games, but this one is oddly fun. Also, I’m gonna need to ring the bell, I HATE THE CONTROLS!!! AND YOU CAN’T CHANGE THEM!!! Excuse me, I had a bit of a temper there. For me, the movement keys are always the arrow keys. When I press ‘up’ to jump, I have to remind myself that the space bar was the jump button! And the attack button is… q? Why q?
Off the subject of that, the gameplay is fun and full of stragety.

Okay... story-mode? If there is any?
X Terrible and underwritten! (or there is none)
✓ Underwritten, but I can still understand what's happening.
X Okay
X Good
X MY GOD IT'S THE BEST STORY!

So the cat (who is named Kimchi…?) was adopted by a loving couple who’s been together for a long time. They both had a necklace that had their portraits in it, including the cats. One day, the wife died and the husband visited her grave with the cat. While they were there, the husband sees a woman who he thought looked like the wife, and goes running after her. On the way, he left Kimchi and dropped his necklace. It was now Kimchi’s job to get it back to him.
Well, that was… bland. It isn’t a very bad idea, but I’ve seen better.

Final and most important question: memes?
✓ NO MEMES!
X Memes, but not relevant.
X MEMES!

This game… has no memes. I understand why, the game treats itself seriously. I respect that.

Overall, should you buy this game? Ignoring my groundbreaking 1 hour spent on it, I say... yes! If you like cats, side-scrolling games, or something that can easily run on your crappy computer, then this game is perfect. But to be fair, if you said 'no' to all the above, I'm going out on a limb and say you're going to get bored as soon as you finish the opening animation.

If I wanted to perfectly describe this game, I would just say "Microsoft Paint: Story Mode." Because lETS BE HONESTT

Yeah the painting mechanics suck

aNYWAYS PROS AND CONS FOR PASSPARTOUT: THE STARVING ARTIST

Pros:
-The premise is... alright. Not bad, but better than others.
-The art for the game, while not ground-breaking or gorgeous, is creative and cute.
-I love the sarcasm in this game. For example, the lowest graphics setting is "potato."
-Benjamin.
-I love how the story is played out like a stage play.
-The fact LavenderTowne played this.

Cons:
-Act II.
-It's very hard to get people to buy your art sometimes. WHY DON'T YOU ACCEPT THE COLOUR PINK?!?!?
-The game does get boring and repetitive after a while.

Overall, for those art nerds and people who generally enjoy art, I recommend this! If you tolerate repetitiveness and second acts, I also recommend this.
