The physics engine is just perfect, and allows for everything from simple riding to insane tricks.

The endless supply of new levels through the community is second to none, and every day you can battle brand-new levels online, where 50% of the battle is finding the right style & moves, and the other 50% is raw skill to execute them.

The skill curve is endless, and there are different skills to hone for different kinds of levels, and the online community is always there to help you develop your skills regardless of whether you have played for 20 days or 20 years.

The fact that sound is redundant also means it's the perfect game for cruising while listening to podcasts/audio books/etc. :)
