Despite an incredible amount of bugs, frustrating balance issues and questionable writing at times, Rogue Trader was an ambitious and at times very satisfying CRPG. I highly recommend playing this in two years from now, you will have a smoother more enjoyable experience than I did.

A lovely RPG showcasing what I would say is a cross between Fallout 1/2 gameplay with XCOM 2 styled combat.

The story was fun, combat engaging and I liked the companions.
High replay value with all the career and faction options!

Incredibly engaging characters and story with satisfying outcomes for quests.

Really fun lightweight turn-based game!
Enjoying it most as a coop game right now, love the ideas behind decision making as a group.
Lots of customisation with all the viable builds.

Would love to see more combat sound variety in future, gettinghurt.mp3 and gettinghurtfemale.mp3 get old fast!

If you've ever played HoMM or even a fan of Advanced Wars, you'll find a home within Songs of Conquest.

Highly recommend for anything with an itch for tactical combat or just looking for an engaging fantasy.
