Extremely fun shooter with friends or even randoms. Constant server issues make it annoying to try and play. The devs are trying their best, but I gotta rate it as I sees it.

EDIT: Feb 28; servers seem to be stabilizing and I'm able to connect first try. Review changed to positive.

EDIT2: May 03; Sony changed its stance on adding a PSN account. It will become mandatory for all new and previous users. While this doesn't effect me directly, it effects people I know. Review changed to negative.

EDIT3: May05/6; Sony has decided to reverse its decision about requiring a PSN account to play the game. However, as far as I can tell via SteamDB, the game is still not purchasable in 170~ countries. Hopefully it will become accessible in those regions again. Review changed back to positive.

Remember Sony. The eyes of Super Democracy are always Super Watching.

EDIT4: Aug06; Inept at balancing the game. This isn't even the first time either. Dev's are just really inept in this regard.

A beautiful and faithful remake of many weebs entry point into Persona and SMT overall. I cant imagine any P3 fans who haven't already picked this up but if its a money issue, its well worth it.

People who came in with P5 will also enjoy it and are in for a fast opening ride when you compare the two. P3 gets into the school life/dungeon crawling segment way faster then P5 or even P4.

On the port side, its runs very well. Graphical options are the minimal for most japanese games but it has support/button layouts for the big 3 and keyboard support.

Absolutely takes me back to 2008/9 when I picked up a used copy at EB Games, grabbed my favorite snacks and a slushie from the local gas station and played 14 hours straight.

I must be a unicorn because Ive yet have any game breaking bugs or softlocks and just the occasional vfx/animation not lining up properly. Other then that the game runs fine, sounds fine, plays fine, has very enjoyable writing even with my limited knowledge of 40k, and anytime visual or audio bugs start to appear, a quick restart of the game seems to make them go away for about an hour or two.

There are some weird UI inconsistencies like no tool tip for the debuff I got when I got covered in ♥♥♥♥, but I was able to piece together what happened by looking at my character sheet and seeing the -30 Fellowship. Game has ultrawide support (21:9 at the very least) and the cutscenes seemed tweaked for it so you shouldn't see any weird popin or popout during them. Sometimes background elements obstruct the screen weirdly during gameplay but you can rotate the camera slightly and it should disappear.

In terms of difficulty, I'm playing on Normal and I found the game easier then Pathfinder WoTR but I think thats because the tutorial felt more informative but not over bearing in comparison, not to mention Warhammer's systems are not as 'obtuse' (Idk if thats the right term) as Pathfinders. Another review said that they have next to no first aid kits, and that is not the case for me. Ive had more then enough, tho I also haven't suffered many injuries or characters going down.

It seems like kickstarter supporters got screwed by Owlcat/Games Workshop in terms of what they got for their money. I didn't pay into the kickstarter, but I did buy my copy from Owlcat at a reduced price ($40 cad, lower then Kickstarters paid) the day before the game came out. Games Workshop seems to have had a heavy hand in this project as opposed to other Warhammer games. Probably because its an rpg and theres so many lore tidbits that need to be approved/verified, but if you don't like how its treated its fan/content creators over the years, this is could be a red flag.

Overall I think the game is worth the full price if you like Warhammer for more than just Space Marines or CRPGs set in a grim dark future where there is not only war but character dialogue, romance options, trade and profit. Being a rogue may or may not be optional. The Emperor Protects.

The writing and encounters are really fun until the final area. That place felt really tedious and not fun to go through. Also I don't like the ending I got.

For the amount of content I got, this was probably one of the best DLCs I've ever bought.

If youre here for the story/FF references/Jack n Friends, and not grindy gameplay, dont buy the DLC, just watch the cutscenes on Youtube. If you wanted more arpg/diablo mechanics, then you might enjoy the DLC.
