It's been said that, were a person to approach a black hole, time would begin to dilate. As you get closer to the event horizon, time relative to you appears to move much slower, almost to the point where years pass by almost instantly. Also, the gravity is so intense, that the atoms in your body begin to unravel in what is called spaghettification.
Obviously there's currently no way to tell how the slowing of time and the undoing of every molecule of your body correlate to each other. If you could only survive a few seconds in the vortex, but those seconds stretch out for much MUCH longer, does that mean you're aware of what's happening to your body as it's happening? Do you feel it? Are you capable of perceiving anything? Would you even care if you did? The only way to find is out to sacrifice yourself to the ever devouring maw; and you wouldn't ever be able to relate the knowledge with anyone who didn't share the experience.
And that experience is... indescribable by any metric or prose humanity could possibly articulate.

Anyway, that's pretty much exactly what playing Placid Plastic Duck Simulator is like

When I'm not recreationally testing the shock absorption of my own skull, I enjoy constructing mazes out of lethal projectile discharging structures and having my people I know of run through them as best they can to see how far they get. However, my therapist and parole officer both strongly recommend I try a new hobby. That's why I play FIELDRUNNERS 2!

It's... fine. Serviceable, even. Unoffensive as far as tower defense games go. I would've enjoyed it more if most of the good towers weren't locked behind a grind that I feel was probably designed to be bypassed by a paywall on mobile versions of the game. It's a good way to pass some time if you want something that requires some thought but not a lot of thinking. Would recommend if you can pick it up on the cheap.

Full disclosure; I am not very good at this game. That being said, I love it.
I, like many, was in love with Symphony of the Night, and consider it to be the best Castlevania game, and I personally think it's one of the best games of all time. So the question is, is Ritual of the Night the game longtime fans have been waiting for? Yes; I believe it is. Was it worth the four year wait since its announcement? Again, yes.
If you're a fan of the metroidvania, I doubt you'll be disappointed by this.

Did you like the Batman: Arkham games? Are you a fan of The Lord of The Rings mythos? If yes, then you're going to have a good time with this.

I really wanted this game to be great. I even got the pre-order and DLC stuff. The lack of a practice mode of some type left me pretty unenthused about playing, since I have no idea how to play without making myself look like a fool in front of a lobby full of people.
Give me some directions or a way to play single player, or at least a tutorial of some type, and I'd change my mind.

I won't lie to you; everything you've heard about the buggy PC port is true. This game has a bad habit of freezing a lot. That said, I love this game! There's a plot about gang rivalry and turf wars or some such, but to me, where this game really shines is in the mindless, random and often cartoonish violence you get to wreak.
Seriously, I've spent countless hours in this game doing absolutely nothing relevant to the storyline. See, the level of customization is great. I've actually made my character look like ME, dressed him up in clothes similar to my work uniform, and sent him into the streets to shoot, bludgeon and roadkill to my heart's content. And that is an awesome experience. It's like if GTA gave up on being realistic and just went nuts. I fell in love with this game when I found myself running over people in the mall with a monster truck, firing an uzi out the window.. and there's so much more.
If you can pick up this one fairly cheap, and are patient, it's totally worth it.

Poetic mutants with a gatling lasers. Suicidal trees. Cannibalism. What I can only assume was Optimus Prime's grandfather.. And you get a dog! What's not to love? If you're a fan of action rpg's, you owe it to yourself to try this. Stealth, sniping, run-n-gun, barbaric bludgeoning. This game covers the bases.
Do take advantage of the PC community made custom content. I'd strongly recommend the mod manager, Lucy West and Amy Wong mods at fallout3nexus.com
The only downside is that you can only listen to the same old songs so many times. But there is a mod for that as well!
