An amazing sequel that improves on the first game in pretty much every way - bigger, better, and more polished overall. The story and characters are still great and genuinely fun to follow. And just to be clear, it’s not a soulslike, it’s simply a fantastic action game with a strong combat system, plus a metroidvania with excellent level design.

The only real downside is the game’s technical state. Nothing that blocks progression, but it’s surprising that after all these years you can still run into some bugs - that’s where many of the negative reviews come from.

Overall, it’s a great game and a great Star Wars experience - highly recommended.

P.S. Thank God they added fast travel between meditation point, it saved a lot of time, especially during endgame exploration.

Damn, it's so good. I mean, I heard about this game before, but didn't expect this level of quality. The animation, story, characters and their dialogue - everything feels like a high-budget show. AdHoc, you nailed it.

But I really missed the dispatcher gameplay. There was a bit of it, kinda like This Is the Police, but I wish they went deeper with it. Overall, it feels more like a binge-worthy interactive series - but a gorgeous one.

9/10

Just like the first game, it's got a great detective story, solid puzzles, and some fun humor. Perfect to play through on a chill Saturday night - highly recommend. And if you haven't touched the first one yet, definitely give it a go too. You can crack that case in just a couple of hours as well.

Well, of course it's an absolute masterpiece. Story, characters, dialogs, exploration - all top-tier. After 10 years decided to beat it again on Steam and finally close this old gestalt, still looks and plays terrific. Can't wait for Witcher 4.

That’s really great. Yeah, as everyone says, the mission structure is super repetitive — you need to kill some guy, and before that, you have to blow up a few spots or take out other guys to get info, repeat many, many times. But I’m kinda lucky though, because I enjoy clearing outposts by stealth.

So honestly, none of that really matters — the story and characters are amazing, probably best in the trilogy. And the late-60s atmosphere is just… something else. Jimi Hendrix, Steppenwolf, Creedence, muscle cars and their sound design (very pleasant to drive), dawn of the CIA, communism posters — love it all.

Highly recommend if you’re into that vibe, especially on sale.

A great point-and-click with unique art and atmosphere, plus a simple but heartfelt story. Perfect if you're tired of AAA games and just want to relax. Just a heads-up, some of the puzzles can be pretty tricky, even if you’ve played it before.

Dunno what that was, but it was fun. Funny riddles and art, good for a quick 1-hour game session. You can play again and try other options.

For those who come after.

Expedition 33 is definitely a GOTY candidate for me. It's got everything I love: beautiful visuals, amazing music, top-tier voice acting, a great story, and best of all, turn-based combat.

Gotta highlight the combat - Owowow! I haven’t played stuff like Persona or Metaphor, but I got into it super fast, and that's so addictive. You’ve got basic attacks, skills with effects for allies or enemies, some give you more AP for your next turn, or an ability to boost an ally's attack. There are active parries and evades too. Boss fights can one-shot you if you don’t learn their patterns, so you really gotta focus. With the right skill combos in your party, fights get super fun and look great too.

Exploration is simple but rewarding. You find upgrade resources, passive gear, or bits of lore. Classic Souls-like bonfires are here - you rest, level up your party, and fast travel. You can go back for optional bosses or NPCs once you're ready.

The story delivers. This world is a joy to be in, and the plot keeps you hooked. Tons of gorgeous cutscenes and incredible music. Trust me, the story hits hard, and you’ll get attached to every single character.

Only downside: sometimes the visuals are too overwhelming - I get lost not knowing where to go, just too many details.

Tomorrow comes.

Nice, but tough to make yourself stop.

Great trilogy - what else is there to say? I’ve played it a bunch, and finally got to the Legendary Edition. Yeah, it's still amazing and I love it too much. The story and characters are some of the best out there. If you somehow haven’t played it yet (and there are still people like that), do yourself a favor and try it at least once.

Gameplay-wise, yeah, some stuff feels outdated, especially in the first game, but it doesn’t take away from the experience. Games like this just don’t get made anymore - we might never see anything like it again.

P.S. Somehow, I skipped the Citadel DLC for ME3 - a big mistake. Tons of fun, jokes, and great moments. Worth checking out.
