Good and complex game, although I haven't really played it in quite a while. There's a lot to learn here.

Very nice survival game. Altough it has a story that can be played all the way to the end, The Forest excels and entertains in its survival elements. There is no actual incentive to continue the storyline.
Once you have discovered all caves and items, there is not much left to do. However, there is a great variety of building types such as treehouses, that make the crafting unique.

The Forest only lacks content after at least 20 hours, so until then, it is a lot of fun.

Good looking map with new species. All around a good addition for hunting.

Useless DLC, especially since the tents & blinds get randomly destroyed from time to time.

theHunter: CotW is an extremely good looking game with fitting mechanics. It's fun to play.
If you're new to this type of game, be patient. After the first 15 hours, you'll understand how the game works, and it will be a whole lot of fun.
What you should be aware of are the bugs. There are countless of them.

I must, however, criticize the DLC policy of this game. It's insane that you have to pay up to 3,99€ for the ATV SABER, which is absolutely necessary to play this game. Reducing the price to 0,50€ would even make it better.
More species are very slowly being added, which is great. Although making a DLC of the geese is also kind of awful.
The amazing nature and the DLC Medved-Taiga make the base game very enjoyable.

Ridiculous that you have to buy this. It's 100% necessary to play the game.

Nice grindy early-access game.
If they, by time, add more classes, weapons and upgrades, it's going to be perfect.
However, 23€ is a little much.

I love how subtle the map is designed. (And the game's fun.)
