If you love realistic flight sims and want to go fly sorties in VR without needing a $1,000+ cockpit setup, then this is the perfect game for that!

As someone who has worked on F-16's, I would like to say VTOL VR perfectly simplifies all of the controls and systems you would find in a fighter aircraft. The physics and mechanics of this game are very realistic. E.g. IRL tactics, like notching missiles/radars work.

This game also has great support from the community. Steam Workshop is directly implemented, so downloading maps/missions is a breeze and you can play them with your friends too.

Massive props to the one developer of this 10/10 game, Paolo Encarnación. 👏

Early Access Review
tl;dr: Excellent, realistic and immersive SWAT simulator against big-brained AI at a difficulty close to Dark Souls. You are not ready.

I've been playing this game a little bit after it first became available in December 2021, and this review was written a month after the Adam Update in December 2022.

Pros:
•MW 2019 Clean House but darker, on meth and offers multiple environmental story-telling maps
•Simple controls, yet the gameplay still manages to feel too realistic sometimes (a good thing)
•I like to call this a "thinking shooter." You have to be extra cautious of accidentally shooting civilians. Or, not being ready for one second can kill you or your teammates
•The AI has gotten A LOT BETTER and more realistic (no difficulty setting btw). And by realism, I mean the AI are full of surprises. They're not bots; they now actually feel like they have some artificial intelligence (must have been the wind it was not the wind)
•Gun sounds are ASMR, and getting shot at or getting shot is terrifying
•Great attention to detail (debris from shot walls, bleeding / blood spatters, bullet ricochets, downed vs dead suspects, etc.)
•Constant updates/patches from the devs, and the major updates are always refreshing

Cons / suggestions for improvements:
•Despite the great sound quality, I cannot tell if enemies are upstairs, on the same floor or downstairs
•Multiplayer will sometimes massively drop your frames, especially when hosting, playing with more players or players with higher ping. Single player frames are fine for the most part
•Single player bot teammates have negative IQ's, so I always go full solo (fun challenge too) or play with friends. Even though they listen to all of your commands, they don't do them sometimes and just stand there. AI enemies on the other hand, like I mentioned earlier, know the difference between the wind vs. an actual player

Overall, for an early access game, I give it a 8.5/10 because I've had so much fun playing this (despite some annoying bugs). I find myself playing the same map over and over because I die a lot and just want to beat it, or I'm trying to get the best score. Some people say the game is too hard, but I say just git gud (seriously, just play more slowly/tactically and remember this isn't CoD). Although there are things that need to be worked on, I have very high hopes for the dev team to turn this game into a masterpiece. And never forget, “MY MOM HAS A MEXICAN MAID. YOU MIGHT KNOW HER!”

My initial thought process: Guns in a zombie game? I played Pavlov VR against hordes of Minecraft zombies before, this will be easy!

While playing this game on Normal difficulty: *literally shaking, sweating, cursing, and crying*

But for real though, for a FREE game where you fight the undead while not being able to move around, it is insanely good. There are a few NPC's, and their voice dialogue are on point. The two improvements I would like to see is a more realistic reloading system (for the pistol especially), and two-hand grip functionality on the pistol. But, the game still works completely fine as it is right now.

10/10, I can't wait to show my "friends" this game and have them 💩💩💩💩 their pants. Also, I wanna give the developers of this game my money!

Friend bought this game for me on my birthday for the memes
I laughed-cringed at first because of the cheesyness
Got immersed into the game pretty quickly though
animations are really fluid which adds to the immersion
using your voice to control the game is also a nice touch
Found myself crying at the end!

This game was a super wholesome girlfriend simulator experience. I really respect that this game was pure and not perverted like VR Kanojo. Also, I don't know if I'll find someone IRL as good as Han Yua. :(

Just like a lot of other reviewers here, I too bought a VR headset (Samsung Odyssey+ / [Windows MR]) just to play this game, and I do not regret anything at all. It is just as fun as the gameplays you see on YouTube!
However, what I think really keeps this game alive is its community. The community provides tons of custom maps/songs for the game, and mods to brighten up the game. I'm no modder, but I think the devs just need to work a bit more with the modders, because with almost every game update, mods and custom songs become all wonky.

Team Fortress 2 is one of the most classic shooting games ever. It isn't simply a game where you just run around and kill stuff, but instead work as a team to complete the objective. You can also buy special cosmetics (HATS!!!) and taunts (best waste of money), or join another person's taunt. Because TF2 isn't super serious, sometimes you'll find friendlies who don't fight you and would rather just do random stuff.
I remember when I started the game; it was hard as the Spy gets with the Scout's Mom (pretty hard). I stopped playing it shortly after, and came back to it a few months later and somehow got good. That was a good thing I came back, because I would have missed the experiences* of such an awesome game and community. Some people say the community is dying, but I still run into so many chill people. Not often, it sucks when there's a kid just using the mic normally, then some jerk bullies him just because his voice is higher. >:(
*Fun expirience moment example: Remember when the Conga Taunt was first released (Love and War update) and everyone chose to rather dance than play the game? Anyone who went on a killing spree would be vote-kicked too. Good times. :D
And of course, you will run into annoying moments too…sorry. Moments include: More than half of your team are playing Spy or Sniper, too many Pyros are on the enemy team, this one player keeps kicking your ass, etc. It's okay though, that's what makes TF2 TF2. :3

btw TF2>Overwatch
