An impressive way to make a game as frustrating as possible.

- master volume keeps resetting to 100% without any real logic.
- sometimes you can fall 200m or 10m before the game triggers an instant death.
- gives you the ability to toggle off the HUD which is also the only real way to know when the instant death happens since thats the only visual que, the audio que is extremely buggy and wont happen most of the time.
- wont even run on a proper resolution without forcing it to with custom software on linux.
- falling 10 seconds and then holding to reset resets you to the start of the game instead of the last checkpoint (who the hell does that, something like that is called quick restart (ultrakill, devil daggers and hyper demon all call it the same thing))
- its esc to skip cutscenes, not "e", not sure why the devs didnt look over the first 5 seconds of the game (where the cutscene begins)

overall it has so many technical flaws to me that it makes it frustrating to play even with its beautiful atmosphere, the game mechanics suck the life out of me, the way the instant death interacts with you gives you mostly only 1 possibilty to solve a "puzzle" instead of trying out things without dying 50 times.
It switches from trying to solve the puzzle to trying to bypass the instant death, and I'm sure you arent supposed to fight against the game mechanics as a player.

its insane that i cant get above 60 fps with thousand dollar hardware, im praying this is only the proton experience, either ways its mega cringe

a pure masterpiece, none come close even today with its movement and mechanics.

would be nice to get an update though to make valve servers playable again without bots

ultrakill + machine girl + speedrun.com's baby is a really nice treat
