Switchcars is a surprisingly fun little game that lets you waste a lot of time without realising it. Go from Plane to Car to Boat to Van to Helicopter to Tractor in the space of a minute, constantly switching depending on what is most efficient at the time.
A huge variety of levels makes this a different game every time. Pick up upgrades and stat boosts along the way to increase your run time - I recommend this game as a little gem in the thick stone that is the indie game market on Steam.

Rainbow Six: Siege is a confusing and unwelcoming game where you have to grind for 100+ games to unlock all the content you paid for. Or you can buy their two season passes.

With incredible features such as:
Dying from nowhere
Getting rushed when you're supposed to be attacking
Getting spawnkilled(!)
Having to watch video upon video just to understand what's even going on
Grinding
Grinding
And more grinding!

You'll be on the edge of your seat trying to figure out just how you died, and how long it'll take for you to unlock that character too so you can kill the confused level 10s while you're level 90.

Planet Coaster is the definition of fun. It brings out your creativity in ways I've never imagined before, and I definitely recommend it to anybody who's played any simulation game. Think of it as Cities: Skylines as it is to SimCity. Better in every single way.

While the recent update of making The Culling free-to-play and reverting it back to the 'good old days', what people need to understand is this wasn't exactly a big decision. The Culling had a peak total of 22 players last month, and their latest title, The Culling 2, had 7 players one week after release.

All Xaviant Games did was throw one last hail mary and figured 'f*ck it, we'll actually listen to the community this one time.' And here you have it, a game everyone has asked for.
All we need to do now is wait for them to make more terrible decisions and kill their game once more, and the cycle continues.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is my favourite game in the franchise (Yes, even better than the holy grail that is Call of Duty 4). Not only is the singleplayer a pleasant, fresh experience that is actually vastly different than the 'kill terrorist' storyline the others tend to go with, but the multiplayer is a good mix of old and new. The parkour elements aren't too overwhelming, and you get the hang of things like wallrunning and boosting quite easily. The range of weapons is already quite good, not to mention the massive amount of melee weapons you can find in crates.

When people mention 'crates' in games, it's quite scary - microtransactions in a full-priced game is generally a no-no. But the only things you get from these crates are entirely cosmetic - camos, animations for the end game screen and melee weapons which are all one-hit kills anyway.
EDIT: I forgot, there are several weapons you can get from crates but they're not more powerful than the normal weapons - things like a two-round burst pistol, or a little compact crossbow. I wouldn't make too much of a judgement on this though. :)

Things like creating your own camo for your weapons to the new Workshop support are one of many reasons why I think Black Ops 3 is a diamond in the rough. I believe people just have to give the franchise a chance now and then rather than brushing it off as another mediocre game in a mediocre franchise milking money. I think Treyarch are the best developers of CoD, and if not Black Ops 3 being my favourite it would definitely be Black Ops 1.

Optimization is on point, with 80+ FPS on Ultra graphics constantly. There is some lag on the community maps on the workshop now and then, but that isn't Treyarch.

Graphics
Mad Max is one of the prettier games I've played in the past year or so, with beautiful indoor particle effects and a variation of colours over the wasteland and not some dull green (cough, Fallout). The terrain and cliffs on the map are one of the nicest I've seen in a game of this type and, if I'm honest it fits the game amazingly well. The textures on some of the terrain up close is a little rough however, especially in close quarters the textures are pretty noticeably blurry,

Sound
Nothing too fancy if I'm honest, a satisfying crunch when you slam into cars (and cliffs, in my case) but nothing award-winning of course. Indoor ambience is very nice too.

Optimization
How well this game is optimized really amazed me - considering it was published by the same people as Arkham Knight (yes, that horror), it runs fantastically on my computer and I don't have a particularly high-end card. I can run this game on Ultra graphics on a triple-monitor setup with little to no stuttering or input lag, it's a very nice experience and it's genuinely fun to have no FPS drops to interrupt such a wonderful game.

Story
I haven't got a large bit into the game (About up to the part where you have to steal the hood ornament) but the characters are all very likeable, even the meaner ones. Chumbucket is a lovely little fellow to have around with you, he interacts with what you do and your objectives each time you get a new one and it's funny to see how he reacts to being slammed into a wall or getting shot at.

Overall, I give this game a 35/40 because it hits all the right spots, but there's always room for improvement. Texture filtering and a higher sound quality would definitely boost this game up to high 30s. Very good price for a AAA game too (I did get it on ♥♥♥, gotta admit) and I wasn't expecting a whole lot.

I strongly reccomend this game, it's Arkham-like combat with very nice driving and customization.

I've started playing Rust recently with some friends and it's a lot of fun protecting yourself from raiders and invading other bases to get resources. The community isn't the greatest but playing with friends is very enjoyable.

There's some bugs like getting stuck in corners or the roof tiles glitching up but for a game in Alpha I can't really speak badly about things like that or there'll be a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Don't buy this if you don't have anyone to play it with, or it will be really boring.

While buggy at times, Synergy is fantastically made and provides hours of fun in (personally) the best franchise on PC. Seriously recommend to anybody with friends that wants to play HL2 with them, as Synergy allows you to do just that.

I got all the way until the end, with the final boss. It's completely based on luck, and it is honestly just a massive disappointment. Don't bother even trying.
