Surprisingly good. It was nice to see some homages to the original.

It's a walking simulator where you have multiple dialogue options when talking to people. I waited for several hours for the game to really begin, but turns out it never really began. You walk, you speak to people, few spooky moments here and there. Repeat. All the characters are very bland and forgettable. There's no combat in this game whatsoever. There are some skills you can upgrade but they mostly just unlock you more dialogue options or more knowledge about the lore. If you want a real Cthulhu experience, I would recommend Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth.
