Many critically acclaimed games "act" unique with cliché meta jokes, copied art styles and repetitive gameplay but Hi-Fi RUSH isn't one of those games. I don't think I've ever been so impressed by the originality of a game. Devs definitely nailed the MDA (Mechanics Dynamics Aesthetics) framework, you can feel the passion of the programmers, designers and musicians while you play. I'm not sure if the gameplay is for everyone, especially for the people who don't like rhythm games, but it definitely feels like a fresh breath among countless of soulless AAA games and aspiring yet underachieving indie games.

Calm gameplay but challenging puzzles, great combination for relaxing and killing time at the same time. Art style is great, musics are smooth, it's so simple but also challenging. Absolutely loved it.

Even though it's very cheap, I abstained from buying this game because it didn't look appealing from trailers and gameplays. However, as a former CS 1.6 surf and deathrun player, it's really fun to play. Recommended.

Non-repetitive fast-paced gameplay without getting complicated? Check.

My first pre-order turned out to be pretty good. It worths every penny for me. In discussion boards I've seen some people complained about 60 fps cap and stuttering, which did not effect my low-end gaming laptop (i7 6700hq+950m) since my monitor is 60Hz already.

My only complaint would be lack of a sort of custom level maker or steam workshop support, which could make the gameplay duration countless of hours.

I don't spend money generously when it comes to buying games. It's quite rare for me to pay for a game unless it's in a big discount. I also bought this game on summer sale, but with the help of hindsight I can easily say it's definitely worth buying this game even without any discount.

Maybe I'm exaggerating but i do believe that this game is perfect in every aspect. Great story, nice graphics, simple but tough puzzles, community support and so on... Maybe it could have wider variety of music but still a great game. 10/10

I expected it to be a creative, challenging and fun game, but sadly I am dissapointed. Even though I did not pay much for it, I'm leaving a negative comment and not recommending this game.
