After a VERY long time of playing, I logged in today to find all of my angels on Earth gone and all of the platinum boosts gone. All that effort, poof, vanished. No help from support. Nothing will bring it back.
Avoid at all costs.

It's honestly the perfect melding of two games.

Now, going into this game, I was really skeptical. A friend bought it for me on GOG. He knew I liked Harvest Moon and told me I'd be excited to play this. That... doesn't get me excited. People tend to miss what made those games great.
Harvest Moon's focus on character building, slow progression and loving care for your farm was always out of grasp for most games. This? Captured it perfectly. I was so into this game that after months of play I bought the Steam version just so I could play it with friends on Steam whenever the multiplayer option comes about.

Now, when I say perfectly, I mean it.

The slow drudge of clearing your farm, getting to know evryone, memorizing their schedules, build resources to make your farm better, it's all there.

What make this game good for me is they combined Rune Factory and Harvest Moon.

You see, Rune Factory is Harvest Moon with combat. Mostly combat. Almost purely combat.
Your farming is just a side bit that kind of occurs occasionally with the ability to have some monsters as animals on your farm, and your farm is VERY limited in space. They basically wanted a dungeon crawler with Harvest Moon tacked on.
You still talked to people and built relationships, but questing, combat and monster study took over.

Stardew Valley found the balance it needed. Harvest Moon with just a bit of nice combat. This game FEELS like what it should, and it adds a few things HM and RF never had with who you marry, how you go about events, the world unlocking more as you progress and an honest feel that choices matter.

Oh, and choices matter! You can ctually be the bad guy for once, go the corporate route, sell-out and help the cold steel take over the natural order, it's amazing.

This game is honestly

IF you can find a server with people on it, the game is non-stop hilarious Matrix-Demolition Man-Van Damme-style action and it is GLORIOUS.

It's Dynasty Warriors, but with well-known anime characters and some interesting mechanics. Honestly, I cringed at the thought, but it's an engaging play and has a very cool upgrading system that, while limiting in the sense you can't just grind how you like, it allows for nice, incremental power ups. All-in-all, it's a solid game for One Piece fans and Musou-players alike.

Well, let's see.
The controls suck, for the mopst part. Clicking on what you want tends to be very hit and miss with sweet spots being very small. A glowing indicator on the hand is helpful but also doesn't do much. Not only that, but deleting characters may be the most cumbersome I've ever seen in a game.
Click the character to pick them up with a slight delay, drag them to the throne room and then try your best to hover them in the five pixels above a pit where you can click and drop them which then takes a few seconds. Couple this with the inability to freeze time while enemies are constantly invading your dungeon, and you have a frustrating time.
Now, if the game was just a dungeon maker, it would be a bit dull since there isn't much to it overall, but it also includes squad RTS in the overworld. Now, if this was by itself when you head out, it would be okay. But your dungeon can be attacked WHILE in the overworld or in a cave or a castle and switching back to the dungeon is a pain unless the throne room is attacked, and then you need to hope everyone gets there in time or drag them quickly.
Now, in the midst of this, the game has the worst tutorials possible.
"We want to teach you how goblin assassins can turn invisible and sneak past enemies but there's a time limit based on energy, so don't ever look away from them. Also, our dungeon is under attack again and your orcs are in a cave far from it and will never make it in time while switching out of the goblin assassin will kill him and you'll have to start over."
Any tutorial level where you can fail multiple ways out of your control is a terrible tutorial.

Overall, the game is mediocre at best. If you got it for free, congratulations. Still not worth playing.

Any game with a twin stick style control scheme but the inability to recognize any controller of mine, even emulated pads, is an automatic "no" from me.
