Skin Mafia and atrocities committed in gambling as well as scandalous youtubers scamming their fans and children, on top of overtly toxic to the point of harassment and doxxing-- this is not a game I'd recommend for the faint of heart or those with mental health issues.

Other than that? Prime is and always was a joke.
People cheat, even those who lie and say 'git good', GN3 and Elite several times, even the 'just good aim' ones cheat.
Expect it.

Game play? Much better now. The overall aesthetic is nice.
Unless the government is paying your bills, don't bother with skins. Focus on your skill first if you're interested. Skins are a distraction when you can get them for free from drops or from other players for a game round on death/drop.
Don't focus on that otherwise you enter literally the reason why Valve can do bare minimum with content release and Steam UI updates and keep the HQ lights on.
Gambling. SCM. And everything in between.

If you want an FPS, it's free. See for yourself. Cope and drain your wallet and time if that's your thing or be smart about it and say F to skins.
Regardless, I cannot wholeheartedly recommend this game.
Mainly due to their decisions and roadmap over the years regarding content, F2P's and bots/hacked clients, as well as the system it implemented in general.
Fun with friends, but even 2014 R6 is a better pick for team gunplay.
