I would just like to take this moment to stand up for my fellow mollusks; us dwellers of the shells, we voyagers of the potted plants.

Yes, we are slow when it comes to rushing B site or when you beg us to quick scope double doors but you don't realize the handicap we have by Valve forcing us to crouch and move one "W" press at a time; you laugh at us and tell us "gg snail, go drnk a bttle of Morton's."

Our reaction time is slow, that can't be denied, but snails have feelings, too.

That's why I am calling for Reddit to take a stand against the constant use of the word "salt" and "salty" or, even, "NaCl"; it's a trigger word for us gastropods and we're appealing to you, Reddit, before we make our claim on Tumblr.

No longer must we be forced to queue up with random MM players named "Embrace the Salt" or "Stay Salty My Friend", no more shall we be berated with "you're salty" after raging on voice chat.

It must end.

To show solidarity, we are asking everyone to make a sign or proclamation that begins with "I need snailism because..." followed with your own personal reason why.

I need snailism because my cousin died in a horrific margarita accident after mistaking the salt for sugar and having his funeral protested by the Westboro NaClist Church.
