Great game overall. Has provided me with a lot of hours of solid entertainment without even really playing half the other gamemodes.

Competitive 5v5 matchmaking is very fun. You get the opportunity to progress, improve your skill, communication, and learn to be part of a team.

There is also a slightly outdated but still simple way of finding decent servers hosted by the community operating all sorts of fun gamemodes to try out on custom maps.

The community is very active and steadily growing, even with the release of Player Unknown's Battlegrounds and also is very active on the Global Offensive subreddit.

Overall this game is a 9.5/10 for me, as the only thing i've found wrong with the game is that the queue times for matchmaking have decreased a bit in the Oceania region but that won't bother a lot of people who chose to opt out of matchmaking and play external matchmaking software that uses CSGO to allow people to play secure 5v5 matchmaking for little to no cost at all.

Would recommend this game to anyone, it's a classic that will cause addictions like no other.
