It's hard to admire the finest scenery when your eyes are welled up with tears.

"Hey! After all that effort, I finally managed to break out of bounds!.........No...wait....there's a chest up here..."

Honestly this game has more secrets and hidden items than any other game I've ever played. Every last inch of the map is used for something, even places that you don't think are reachable will have something tucked away.

The combat is a little janky but if you love exploration games with truck loads of collectables, this is guaranteed to scratch that itch. I adored every minute of it!

This very much feels like the developer's first or second attempt at making a game so it is a little rough around the edges. Nevertheless, I enjoy exploration games like this and the developer did a decent job at keeping me hooked until the end.

It's short and simple but overall a nice experience. Good job!

This game is not bad by any means, it's completely playable and has some charm in places, not to mention I love foxes.

It's just....generic for the most part. I've seen this kind of platformer a million times before and there's nothing that makes this one stand out among the crowd.

There are 3 key issues that stop me from recommending it though:
1) It's a very lazy mobile port, meaning there are a lot of references to touch controls and there is a noticeable lack of a quit button on the main menu (I ended up having to force close it).
2) The collision detection needs a bit more work. Sometimes I could not grab onto ladders unless I jumped at it at the perfect angle. Enemy hit boxes are a bit hit and miss as well.
3) There are a lot of blind leaps of faith that you need to do in order to progress, most of which will cause you to land awkwardly onto an enemy or a spike pit. It's very cheap, especially considering that you get almost no invincibility frames after taking damage.

This is such an amazing tool. I honestly never thought it was possible to customise the Windows desktop wallpaper this much before. I can set an animated desktop background which synchronises with both my Windows colour theme and my keyboard/mouse RGB lighting while playing ambient sound effects in the background.

You don't even have to make your own wallpapers, there is already an enormous library of very high quality themes to choose from in the Steam workshop.

Want to play a game? No problem, you can easily set it to pause everything when a program is focused or fullscreened in order to save on resources.

This game is insanely fun to play with a group of friends.......even when you inevitably end up trying to throw each other off the edge of the stage rather than actually completing the puzzles.

Square have really outdone themselves with FFXIV. In one of the biggest comebacks in gaming history, they managed to turn an enormous flop into quite possibly the best MMO money can buy.

While the base game can be a little dull and repetitive, you really need to play through to the expansions to see why people love this game so much. The story and gameplay have gotten considerably better over the years and it is no exaggeration that Shadowbringers is some of Square's best work since the 90's. I never thought I'd see the day where an MMO could make me cry.

Then you've got the absolutely astounding soundtrack that the developers are forever adding new songs to with each new patch.

The graphics are a little dated considering that the engine is a decade old but the developers have picked up some pretty good tricks over the years and it honestly doesn't look that bad by today's standards.

As for customisation, you can literally make your character into Kimahri from FFX and dress him up as 2B from Nier Automata. Do I need to say any more?

10 out of 10. Would definitely recommend!

Early Access Review
It's a fun game but I can't recommend anything with such a heavy focus on pay-to-win mechanics.

My first instinct is that this is a student game, made by people who are still learning the art of game design or simply experimenting with Unity. As a university project, this would probably get a decent grade since it does look pretty good in some places (the extreme atmospheric lighting and depth of field kinda compensate for the lack of texturing).

However, it's quite clear that the game was just thrown up on Steam before it was properly finished. There are so many bugs that should have been addressed prior to release which still exist over a year later. At the very least they should sort out the shooting mechanics, it's just horrible trying to figure out what you're actually aiming at and the game is borderline unplayable as a result.

I can't really recommend this game to anyone due to severity of the bugs (no matter how cheap it is) but the developers should know that they do have plenty of potential, they just need to work much more on that final polish.
