A wonderfully executed idea for chess, The actual games will obviously be very complex - but that comes with the conceit of the game. Honestly, the hardest part of the game (for me) is learning the "3D/4D" movement of each piece and the concept of "The Present" being the driving force of your games. Each piece has movement options between its past, future, and alternate timeline boards that you will have to learn that don't seem as intuitive as one would think. The idea behind a piece's movement is usually in the spirit of the piece its based on, but you may have to reference how it actually works during your games. I look forward to playing actual games instead of just puzzles and small boards, but I wouldn't try to just jump in without doing those first (and reading a handful of guides) or you'll become quickly confused with why pieces are/aren't allowed to move in such odd ways.

TL;DR: Great game, but don't go in just expecting meme-y chess because there are some pretty unusual mechanics on top of it being already overwhelming.
