Definitely not just an Overwatch clone, this game has character, something 99% of modern AAA games and even that one AAAA game lacks. Solid thumbs up from me, please don't decrease my social credit China :D

Game crashes on launch and always asks me to "verify integrity of the game files". None of my files are corrupt, Nothing wrong with my hardware and I've tried everything that people who have had this issue posted on the net. Can't get the game to work even after several reinstalls and Bungie support gives the same robotic replies, which again, solve nothing.

Among Us is a masterpiece indie game in this era of AAA titles. If you've played MINDNIGHT you'd probably find that this game is moulded in a similar betrayal/trust theme, with a cat and mouse chase between the crew and the impostor. For just about $2 on steam or a free download on iOS/android, pick this game up if you've got a few friends and some spare time on your hands.

Edit- The game has changed a lot since my initial review and I feel that it's lost a lot of it's charm since the dev team changed in late 2019. R6 remains my most played game on steam, but i find myself playing it lesser and lesser as time goes on.
The introduction of the Battle Pass system, their decision to retire the old Year Pass which gave us a myriad of benefits, only one new operator a season, no new maps for 2 years now, reworking old maps which didn't need reworks, are some of the reasons why I've decided to edit this review.
The game is in a bad state and the devs refuse to acknowledge it. Dwindling player numbers are not because the game is bad, it's because the target audience is slowly shifting.
The changes that have been made have rendered the game to be beyond salvation as players have moved to other games in the market, which have a less scummy system of monetization.
I'm not a fan of Battle Passes in AAA games, games that we've paid upwards of $60 on, and I don't think they belong in such games. That being said, retiring older features and forcing players to unlock operators through the Battle Pass(or having to wait 2 weeks after the launch of a new season) is one of the worst systems I've had the displeasure of experiencing.

Pretty decent game, steep learning curve, but my go to game on steam now. 8.5/10

Amazing storyline, binds you into the game and with its protagonist Lo Wang. Awesome combat system, good graphics, worth every second of my time.
