Chess is dead

Chess hasn't been updated in almost 200 years and it's obvious the devs have abandoned it. The greedy creators took your money and laughed all the way to the bank.

I remember back in 705 AD when chess was fun. Then they started adding stupid features no one wanted like "Castling" and "En Passant" instead of listening to player feedback and fixing game-breaking bugs. I've been complaining for YEARS about the collision-detection glitch with the horsey. The "clipping-thru-pieces" bug has been abused to death and the lazy devs refuse to fix it. Don't support this awful behaviour and boycott this company.

The only multiplayer combat game on steam where you can dominate the other team playing as a naked hobo. 10/10 recommended.

I thoroughly enjoyed the gameplay of Militia. I wish I could say the same for Axes and Acres, however this is not game for me. I love the simplicity of Militia, utilising the skills unique to each hero in matter similar to playing a turned based puzzle game. I feel like Axe and Acres tries too hard to combine elements from Militia and city building games like sid's civilisation, yet fail to achieve what makes either game great. There are too many steps and mechanics involved each turn to be a fast paced strategy game, but also doesn't have enough material to grab my attention like a proper city builder would. The time mechanic, limited option for cards and almost linear gameplay restricts an almost sandbox play-style I enjoy in a city builder. I like other games by BrainGood, l like the stylisation they are building, but just not this game.
