I am a North American speedrunner of SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom on console. I began speedrunning in April of 2016; BFBB is my first and only speed game. The various RTA and TAS runs of this game uploaded to YouTube encouraged me to begin speedrunning due to its nostalgic value and fluent physics, movement and mechanics, along with the obvious potential that this game had for growth when I first discovered its speedrunning community. When I began running this game, only one active player remained and there were very few resources for learning the run. Since I began playing BFBB competitively, I have improved the world record by several minutes and developed a YouTube channel filled with resources for speedrunners interested in playing this game. The presence of these resources has helped revive the BFBB community and instill competitive spirit.

On June 6, 2016, I first broke the Any% world record with a time of 1:07:15. Since June 19, 2016, I have held the Any% world record and accomplished several milestones for this game including breaking 1:06, 1:05, 1:04, 1:03 and 1:02 before any other player. My routing and optimization progress for Any% has increased the potential of the category by more than one full minute of time saves. I hold world records in a few other categories, however Any% is my main focus and I am currently unsure of whether I will expand to other categories or games in the future.

Aside of focusing on improving my personal bests, I develop tutorial videos and other helpful resources to encourage people to speedrun this game. You can find these resources on my YouTube channel, however I encourage players to ask questions regarding tricks and routing during my streams so I may more effectively help them learn and improve.
