I don't want this review to be too long as you need to play the game to understand what I'm saying!

The Albino Hunter is one, if not THE best game of the year if we're talking about games that hide under the radar... (personally :3)

I haven't played an old school RPG for a long time so I thought why not? I was recommended the game by my friend as it was cheap, and one of the groups encouraged the purchase, so shoutout to them people - you know who you are!

The game hits you with hilarious humour that is present through the beginning to the end. Some people might find it cringy or weird, yet I thought it was perfect as you don't see many games that use humour as a major thing as it's risky - althought you have games such as Deadpool and this that pulled it off greatly. There are inside jokes that reflect upon the developer and her past work which was pretty interesting. The reference to the actual player and the meta aspect was very different and it felt like a breather from the actual game. The characters are very interesting with each and single one differing from one another in order to pick your favourites and to simply not be bored with the same kind of dialogue. Quests are major in RPG's and the ones that are presented in this game are unique, interesting and again - funny. There are areas that differ from another that also have their unique enemies that provide a good fight, along with a decent amount of gold and exp. The new skills that are unlocked are VERY classic such as boosting the ATK of the party, provoking an enemy to hit a specific character, hitting enemies all at once yet with a reduced amount of damage and etc. This is the most basic description of the gameplay, in a nutshell :)

I feel like if someone wants to capture the essence of this game, they need to try to immerse themselves to the fullest by blocking out the real world with a set of headphones and a comfortable seat as you'll be playing this game for a while - as exploration is key to finding cool items but also the achievements that people are desperate to get! This game is really a gem not only for the gameplay. Although this is a small indie title, the Dev's respond to every single question that the community ask regarding the game. The timing is near to instant and the first comment will ALWAYS be from the dev - attempting to sort out the problem whilst being kind at the same time.

By no means is this game perfect. There are many bugs and problems with this game as it's completely new - but it's slowly developing. The devs release updates that sort out most of the problems and when a new one occurs, they fix it in a flash. It's £0.15 (dunno how many centssss :S), you're not loosing anything and if you don't like it then oh well, maybe your friend will! But yeah I hope everybody gives this game a shot as it's worth it in my opinion. I've only played around 6 hours and I feel like I'm no where near done!

Early Access Review
This is my "experience" of the game and this is how I saw it.

All the reviews of this game are positive. This is not positive. There are my opinions and all the other great reviews should be assessed before moving onto this one. I'm actually a fan of this game and I love playing when I actually play with this game but some of the problems I have just ruined that mindset of mine but I hope that this turns out to be a succesful title and I'm glad that people are over seeing the cons and don't mind them but since nobody wants to adress these things I will.

Tbh I've never heard of this game up until I recieved a Early Access Ticket which seems useless at the moment but whatever. I'm familiar with the previous Dead Islands and although I'm not a fanboy that dribbles over a release, I enjoyed them - both alone and with my buddies for many reasons. But this isn't the Dead Island we know and it was very brave of the developers and the whole "team" to put this out on the market. I applaud each and single one of you and as far as it goes - it's something completely different that DOES plunge you into a world of fun etc. I really hope that some of you (developers) are looking at these review tabs since it's the main source of feedback.

Anywho, I'm going to try to say this as briefly as I can but damn son, I have a lot to say. I've discussed this with some of the friends that I "played" with and it just ended with laughter. I'm well aware of this being a Early Access game but in my eyes, it's already starting to get out of hand. I don't do these sort of reviews out all but someone has to since it's being praised for it being unique and new but that's it.

So let's start with the characters. No from the bat wtf, what have you done. Who the hell is Berg? What the hell IS A Berg? We don't care about Berg nor the rest of these jokers. There's a little back story of all of them which is boring as HELL and we don't get to bond with the characters like we did with the previous gang - and the idea of this being a half Dota and half Dead Ops doesn't let you bond in anyway. You just move and kill with them. You won't even remember the names. I don't remember the names. Why would I remember the names? There's a selection of 3 or 4 (I'm not even sure) characters that are promised to have all these tactical skills but ALL OF THEM SEEM THE SAME TO ME. Surely you'd think that a different character will have a different role and that's what they tell you and although each character is slightly altered, that failed. Each of them just seem the same. But I wouldn't know what the other characters are like. Sorry you have to have about a million "character points" which you earn throughout completing the session to buy a character so correct, you can't change a character until you purchased another one which is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to me. Why can't a change a character when I don't like "Berg" at the beginning. Why do I have to go through about 30 hours or not more to recieve one of the cheapest characters? lol

I wanted to get to see the old characters like Sam B, the badass rapper who splattered brains with sledgehammers. I wanted to see Logan throwing his supply of knives into limbs and eyes. You don't get that but wait silly me what am I talking about. You CAN be Sam B! That's so cool okay, where is he show me I'm so excited. Yet again, this game trolls you and MAKES you play a ridicules amount of times in order to play Sam B cause guess what? "Character Points". Sure you can save up and play all these games with the very same character that you started with but there is a wide selection of characters that you can buy that are below Sam B that are much cheaper. This will want to make you want to be someone else as you don't want to be stuck with "Berg" all this time. It would be just dead boring as you can have a fresh character and you'll have moodswings just like that. Oh yeah and you have "Mutated" versions of the starter characters which is the stupidest thing ever and it just sounds stupid and wow. Dead Island was always based around survival and although this is a different game and has a completely different objective, it isn't Dead Island and it simply ruined the picture for me. YOU DON'T WANT TO BE INFECTED CUZ IT MEANS UR A ZOMBIE???? Bare in fact that these "mutated" are simply superheroes that look like villains with all these super powers HAHAHA okay.

You want to play with your friends straight awa-... NO YOU DONT YOU CLOWN. The tutorial is shoved into your face each time you enter the game and it won't stop nagging your morality until you treat it with effort and time like a little kid that craves attention. YOU HAVE TO DO ITTTT. This tutorial takes about an hour long so you might want to tell your friends to make some coffee and get comfortable on their seat as the tutorial teaches you the advance technique of using WASD and mlg hitting a zombie with a mouse click. Yes it is that advance so if you're not ready don't bother. Thinking of it now, scrap that hour. 2 HOUR WITH THE CONSTANT CRASHES AND BUGS AT THE "CRIB" AND IN GAME THAT FORCE YOU TO CLICK "Task Manager" EVERY 10 MINUTES SINCE THE GAME DECIDED TO BE A JACKASS.

YOU COMPLETED THE TUTORIAL HAHAAHA YEEESSS. You get to role with your gang now. You got some sensei training from the worlds best and now you're ready to wipe the world of zombies with your pal. That's what I was thinking, and so were you but no. The game decides to ruin your mood again and is literally begging for an uninstall. So you finish it and your friend was in a match since you took an HOUR but okay, you're past that. You can finally enjoy the game, you hope. Your friend leaves the game and joins your party. You and your friend are at the verge of ejaculation from happiness but contain it and press ready. At this point you hear you friend crying telling you that he has to WAIT 15 FU**ING MINUTES IN ORDER TO PLAY WITH YOU SINCE HE LEFT THE PREVIOUS GAME. I understand the point in this, BUT NOOO WE WASNT READY. THE TUTORIAL ALREADY TOOK ONE HOUR WHICH IS A MINIMAL.....................

I don't know it's stress for me but that's all I can think about and those are the main things that bothered me. I'm a big fan of "characters" and it's a big thing for me if I'm looking at the game so I'm guessing that me having that mindset weighed in on this review. I'm not going to go into the pros of how stunning the visuals are and how enjoyable the game actually is once you get into it. Many reviews state all these things and theres no point.
