It's more about having one player that can single-handedly decide to end the game at any point and the other players not really having a counterplay around it. To be fair, if I slug 4 people to get a 4k, I would really not consider that as a win. I would just exploit bad game design. But that's just my opinion. And again, all in all, it's fine.
