It doesn't feel like any decision made during combat actually matters. It's all reflexes and luck. Winning fights isn't especially rewarding, either, because it never comes down to any real skill. Every battle is just surviving long enough for the AI to make a mistake, and with how much the AI cheats, it feels completely arbitrary when it does finally mess up.

The style is cool, and obviously a lot of other people love this game. If there's anything deeper going on, though, it isn't explained well.

I was expecting a game where everyone is the TF2 spy, and instead ended up stuck with a game where everyone is the TF2 scout

Promising game released in a totally unfinished state. Doesn't have enough content to be a full game, you'll see everything there is to see in the first 30-60 minutes. There's no real sense of progression, it's the same 4 enemies and the same setups with each level. Definitely shouldn't have left early access yet. Basically an extremely polished concept demo of a neat concept.
