Every game now a days is considered a "WoW clone" by most peoples standards. Simply put this game is fun. Its got the cartoony (is that a word?), predictable hit rotations, dont stand in the fire, basic elements of an MMO that I have found to enjoy consistently. It is now also F2P so you will have the ability to just try it for yourself without hurting the bank. I started playing WoW as my very first MMO and always seem to gravitate back to that kind of playstyle no matter what MMO comes out now a days (although TERA totally kicked ass for me until I found out end game content killed my PC specs and became unplayable). The difference now is that WoW still follows a subscription based model and Rift does not. Everyone's got their own taste for video games and what they think is "fun" or "challenging" now a days. If your reading this review your probably considering playing this anyways, so since its F2P I would just dive right in and try it for yourself.
