Aside from some graphical glitches that require you reset the game to continue on occasion ( at least for me ) - Lumino City is just as magical, if not more so than the first. challenging puzzles; great music, and of course a cute story, i reccomend this title if youre even the slightest intertested in this after playing the first game.

lets turn our attention to the elephant in the room - micro-transactions - yes, this subject has made many understandably sore, but frankly, i had not known about them until half way through the game. lets be honest, they can be completely ignored and contribute essentially nothing - the game progresses just fine without them.

despite some low FPS issues, which i have since resolved after some tinkering with my settings, the game looks and feels amazing. even on the lowest settings, you'll marvel at the attention to detail they've obviously slaved away at in this game. from intricate designs to some rather impressive... clutter, you'll want to explore every square inch of this game just to see what it has to offer.

The gameplay itself nearly mimics Human Revolution, which is a good thing in my opinion, allowing you to pick up this game without feeling like you have to completely relearn any controls. they've also added extra features and abilities which only enhance the whole experience; have also improved pre-existing functions.

The story itself is not really worth writing home about, and the ending of the game is lack-luster, but everything in between (gameplay, side missions, exploration, +more) kept me playing this title. if you want to set the difficulty to the easiest purely for story, id recommend you'd wait until it goes on sale. but if that is not your focus, buy it now.

either way, this game is a must buy

(finally, a game released this year that i havnt been completely disappointed with.)

What is snuggle truck? its game of the year material, thats what it is.

You're playing bruce, a cancerous truck driver on his last breath. you've decided to make a change in the world in few days you have left to live. to do so, you've enlisted yourself as a Stuffed Animal Transporter.

Its up to you to traverse the obstacle laden world to deliver squeaky stuffed animals to dying children in the most remote places in the world. plow through hazard filled forests, barren wasteland deserts, and underground caves never explored before. but you must be careful, you must not lose your cargo! or the dying children will be forever sad because of your failure.

Are you up to the challenge? are YOU willing to make a change in the world? do YOU have what it takes? did i mention that there is a LEVEL DESIGNER?!

Prove your worth.
Be a man.
Drive...
The Snuggletruck.

What do you think would happen if Deus Ex and the Theif game had a love child that was raised by the environment designer of HL: 2? Well i am more than certain that this would be the end result.

After you escape your incarceration from a previous event, you realize that the gameplay and style really borrow from Deus Ex and Theif, and thats a good thing. while the main gameplay feels very reniniscent to primarily Theif, it also has aspects from DE which come into play as well. For example: purchasing special abilities along the way as you play, which really adds to replayability.

These special abilities will affect the way you play. I chose to go with time slow, possession, and a few others that helped with stealth. i spared anyone i could. but you can also choose more harmful skills, such as one that can break down doors, or call for a swarm of rats to eat away your foes.

Which adds another aspect: varied endings, with a good story to boot. Get this game, i highly recommend it

You ( Lumi ) are stopping by your grandpa's house to see if hes around.
however, with a partial shopping list reinstituted as a note spacifically for you tacked on the door, reveals that he is in town to see if he can be illuminated as to why there
there seems to be a lack of power. it seems that he wants to energize his own house, but has hit a snag, and wishes you to help him regain power with what you're able to find around the house. this sets you off on your sadly short, but quite touching "adventure" around the property.

This is a point and click adventure, where you'll explore lumi's grampa's house in order to solve puzzles and acquire items to gain the materials needed to help your grandad to become more.. self reliant. power wise anyway. this is a heart warming, fun, and cheap title. it may only keep your attetion for about an hour and 10 minutes, if that, but there is a hint at more content being added later, so why not give it a try?

Fight to restore the bastion to its former self... or not.

This is a great little game worth its price, which is best enjoyed in short bursts of gameplay, half hour here and there. 1 playthrough ( for me ) rounded out to be a bit over 4 hours, but due to some unlocks and decision making towards the end of the game, it easily offers more than one playthrough. ( which is more than what i can say for other, cash cow, $60 games... )

The narration itself really made this game stand out to me, story-telling with a twist, and quite the.. attractive voice. which is pretty much icing on the cake. ( but hey if you dont like it, you can turn it off. dont let it deture you from the game, but it certainly is quite a big part of the game itself. )

There are also the occasional catchy tune that pops up from time to time, which really helps set the mood for the levels as well. thinking of getting the album, truthfully.

if you like a game to kick back too, deff give this a look
