Counter Strike by far has the worst ranked community I've ever experienced. LoL is considerably more toxic, but the CS community is absolutely unmated in the number of people who actively refuse to play to win. AFKs, no comms, economy management...gun skill really has nothing to do with it. It's 3v5 or 5v3 every game without exception. Not to mention Valve allows the game to launch 4v5 with full loss penalty in premier. I won't even start in on the lack of trust created by a ♥♥♥♥ anti-cheat.

I'll hand it to Valve for the brilliant decision to make their game one giant NFT which will forever keep it relevant. Riot games could never sniff Valve's ass in terms of business acumen.

Still, coming back to this game for a few months each year reminds me how good LoL is even given its own terrible community.
