I have put a ton of time into this game. I took a very long break and now I don't understand a single thing.

Good times. Played with friends who were on console. Actually a fun game. I never could get into the old L4D games but really enjoyed this.

One of my favorite games, absolutely amazing and still holds up today. Play this instead of TL3.

I regret going over 2 hours in this game hoping it would get better.
Edit: 3 years later and this game still makes me have to go touch grass due to its existence and how much of a let down it was.

Portal shooter, gameplay was decent enough. Rewards/lootboxes feel absolutely awful and you can't get rid of some notifications on your main menu without purchasing what appear to be seasonal loot passes. Keeps letting you know that if you buy their pass these worthless exp rewards will be yours, or you can get a lootbox with items that feel just the worst to open. Would be a nice little 7/10 f2p buuuut the bot issue is rising.

this game very quickly has become riddled with bots. Turned a decent little gimmicky shooter into basically trash when teams are involved. Makes many rounds either completely one-sided simply because half of a team can't jump or use portals properly. Modes like VIP Contamination you can jump on a ledge just outside the map as the VIP and the bots will just strafe back and forth endlessly because they can't jump. 2/10, the game has neat gimmicks but is at the end of the day probably just a set up for a better game later down the road.

did a few deathmatches, then sat in queue for over 10 minutes for a 6v6 koth match before quitting out. Dead game modes in new games are awesome.

Also a bunch of the achievements appear bugged or I somehow managed 100 matches in under an hour.

The game is meh.

Been having a ton of fun with this game. From farming/grinding gear to get good stats to exploring the different classes a great time. Unlike others I've had zero major issues/wipes/game breaking bugs that i'm told are rampant through the game. So far so good at just over 100 hours so take that for what its worth.

Story feels a little forced at times and leaves a lot of questions unanswered (future content?). Otherwise I enjoyed the side characters and most of their personalities. Really enjoying flying around the map on Trickster and sploding things or burning everything down on Pyro.

Things I'd like to see: Attribute ranges for weapons/armor so when I'm hunting gear I can see those near perfect rolls a little easier, a way to lock gear and a way to discard the earthborn gear from my stash/characters. Above all that a glamour closet system (transmog).

I plan to try co-op eventually, but at w15/ct11 (took a while as I am working on all classes here and there) I haven't found a need to yet to make the fights easier and i'm not sure if adding others to a game increases item find or enemy hp like in diablo 3. so that bits a wash at the moment.

Overall great fun. Normally a pretty cemented MMORPG player but this has been a nice game to break away from the norm to.
