Great fun. Needs a beefy computer to run at higher graphics settings though, because it is very high quality.

This is not the official version of this game. Someone ripped it from the Github, and rarely updates it, and so it is a buggy mess. Use the official version, on the website or on the Microsoft Store.

Jesus Christ the grind. If there was an equivalent, I would switch over even if I had to start from scratch.
Unfortunately it's so damn hard to stop playing. My advice is don't start.

*edit* I've since stopped playing due to the ingame economy taking a nosedive and plunging into the Mariana Trench. It's not good game design when the only way to make any money above 4.7 is to take a low-br tank to high-br matches and try to score 'god-mode' kills, especially since they cut the reward for that in half.

*edit 2* Some significant changes have been made. The economy has somewhat improved, but there are still major pay-to-win elements such as applique-bushes, making you near-invisible in Realistic and Simulator battles. I've started playing again, but I would not recommend it to new players.

Small and sweet, it's really fun to play. It runs on near anything, and does so well.

Yeah it's pretty good

Have cash for DLCs or get them off of ♥♥♥ or something, you need most of them for proper gameplay

A good CPU is very useful because of the sheer amount of stuff going on

Some very good mods, try Old World Blues, Kaiserreich, Endsieg, Road to 56, and Red Flood.

Multiplayer runs at the speed of the slowest person

I have played 1k hours and I am still awful and don't know how to handle unit design.

The game is pretty poor.

PROS:
Looks somewhat retro.
The ship handles decently.

CONS:
No ending. (I know this sounds weird for an infinite runner, but still. even if there was just an infinity mode, there is nothing to strive for AT ALL.)

Same okay-ish song that gets less and less okay as it loops over and over with no way to disable it without straight up turning off your computer's sound.

The graphics look (and are) cheap. You can find them on the unity store.

The powerups are near-totally opaque, so even if you pick one up, you are quite likely to smash into a wall behind it without being able to see it.

On a related note, the powerups are also underwhelming. The Speed powerup just increases gamespeed for a few seconds, including your strafing speed but also the movement of obstacles, and the Slowmo does the opposite, meaning you strafe slower giving you little advantage. So other than less/more reaction time, they are pointless.

The credit powerup gives you 75 credits. You need thousands to unlock the first ship, which is just a colour change.

You barely get any credits from just flying, I flew 60000m and got ~250 credits total when I hit practically no powerups along the way.

YOU CAN SKIP EVERY OBSTACLE. You simply fly as hard as you can to one side, until you fly off the edge of the level. As long as you keep going in the same direction, you will never hit anything again and get every achievement within 10 minutes.

This game wouldn't be worth it if it was free. Avoid it, it's most likely an asset flip.

Bug fixes? Probably.
Laggy? As heck.
Turn down graphics settings even though you can run HL2 on max settings? Yep.
Hotel? Trivago.
Did somebody say? Just Eat.

Honestly, Kliksphillip inspired me to get this game. I'm certainly not good at it, but his method of a race a day has been really fun, and I've actually improved through playing. I have an ok PC, and it runs on high graphics just fine, rarely dropping below 60fps or having occasional lagspikes that are common with my setup. It even runs on my netbook, albiet at around 30-40fps with lowest graphics. However, it manages it at 1080p, so it's still fairly impressive.

If you really want it, get it on sale. It's not too rare that it goes on said sale, and it's really worth it.

It was great. Great for a long time and then they started introducing the 'Big' guns. Missiles, Gatling guns, AA Guns, and then the MODULES. I remember when the physics were functional. When physics was a THING. I've been playing this game for so long, from back when aeroplanes were the hot new thing and wings had just been added. I remember building airships with helium and rail guns and sniper-duels between said airships. And then you got rid of cash. All those HOURS WASTED to get a new gun were POINTLESS. #Back2014
