Came back after hearing some major fixes had been applied. At first it felt great, responsiveness was up and the server seemed fine, and then I had my first mid-range encounter... I'm still appalled at how terrible the hit registration and bullet travel works in this game. Found myself still having to lead my target by about 10 meters while the guy is running at a fixed sprint, when in reality, I wouldn't have to lead them by more than a few inches to a foot at max in real life. Especially when this target is about 20 meters from me. As an avid shooter and veteran I can't get behind how terrible the leading still is in this game. After getting frustrated with that first encounter, I had my second encounter in the same game, where I managed to dip behind a wall, to still be killed by shots that had been fired long after reaching safety.

For some additional notes, I run a fairly high-end rig, and have very good internet. My ping/latency usually never spikes beyond 50ms and on average sits around 35ms and in-game I sit at a decent 190+ frames. Oh well, I'm sure ill come back and try it again at some point, but I still can't get behind the way the game operates, even after all this time.
