This game is very much like Bioshock set in a utopian 1950's Russia with robots, AI and other infestations. The world is large, filled with a lot of details and lore. There are huge underground laboratories comparable to Portal 2's Aperture Science.
The enemies are brutal and quite hard at the beginning till you learn to dodge and get the upgrades.
The soundtrack is amazing from classical, old Russian music to modern house music and rock.
There's a lot of narration through out the whole game.

There are a few negatives that I have encountered:
-The UI/HUD that shows the objective got bugged and I saw this message every time there was no objective all the way to end credits.
"Locked Inside with The Hostiles
Survive The Pesticie Workshop Lockdown"
I completed this objective a long time ago but it didn't register.
-The Steam Achievements are also bugged, I didn't get certain achievements that I was supposed to get after reaching certain areas in the game.
-The collision models aren't always right, I got stuck a few times in some geometry, cliffs, walls with props/models. Dynamic npc's like chickens push me away. They shouldn't have this push mechanic or field around them. It would have been better if you could have just walked through them.
-Every time I climb into a vent I can see through the walls for a split second. The animation for climbing inside a vent isn't done right.
-The game crashed once with a fatal error at the theater level for some reason.
-Some enemies spawned inside a pipe while I was doing a polygon puzzle room and they got completely stuck in there, they couldn't get me.
-Inside the sewage pipes with water the looting animation got stuck on a loop and it was very hard to get it unstuck. This bug kept repeating till I went to a different area, saved and reloaded the game.
-There are some items in places that are completely unreachable, now I don't know if this was intentional or the devs forgot to remove or placed them there by accident.

If you are a Bioshock fan, you will love the world and story but it is going to be quite hard at the beginning till you reach the open world and get the upgrades. You may encounter bugs like I did or where things don't register properly or miss achievements.

Worth buying when it is discounted. It is not a perfect game cause it has bugs with collisions, animations, UI, and achievements.

Awesome high quality mod with very detailed levels, custom voice lines and soundtrack.
The Xen levels are similar to Black-Mesa version of Xen with their own original ideas.
It takes about 5 hours to finish it. (1st chapter 1 hour, 2nd chapter 2 hours, 3rd chapter 2 hours)
It has achievements which adds to reply value.
The mod is so well tied to Half-Life that it could very well be an official expansion like blue shift and opposing force.

It is not like F.E.A.R as many people pointed out, only the slow motion mechanic and some horror elements are similar.

The level design is bad, very blocky and flat with a lot of copy-pasted, badly placed assets, the lighting isn't that good in some levels and specific places, it is either too dark, too bright or messes with the reflective surfaces. As an Unreal Engine 4 game the levels should have been more detailed with more variety of props and textures. There are too many rooms and hallways that look too similar or unrealistic.

The physics are wonky and the corpses fly all over the place if you step on them.
The sound and music are off, way too loud to the point where you can't even hear the narration.
The enemies throw several grenades at you every time they see you and this gets old and annoying really fast.
The stamina mechanic is bad, you will constantly run of of stamina.

Without the slow motion and stealth ability mechanic this game is just an average shooter with weapons that aren't accurate with badly made levels that breaks the immersion. It looks like a triple A game but It is more like someone's first early access/beta unreal engine game.

Not even worth for half discount. It is worthy at -90% off.

A masterpiece

The story is very deep, philosophical and interesting. The world is very rich filled with many kinds of characters, technologies, cars, weapons, factions, music, locations.

Bugs? I have encountered a few like floating cars, objects glitching/moving on their own because of wobbly physics. The only game breaking bug I found was when I used the phone in a elevator going down, fell out of the elevator and got stuck in the elevator shaft. Another major bug I found when I couldn't call (summon) my car but reloading from a save fixed it.

The price tag is okay for what it has. There's a ton of narration in this game done really well by professional voice actors. There's a lot of music variety, sci-fi atmosphere and a lot of references to cyberpunk movies like ghost in the shell, blade runner, judge dredd. Cyberpunk 2077 portrays the cyberpunk world really well and the most interesting thing is that there's a lot of mystery surrounding corporations and certain characters. The main story alone is the most valuable thing about this game which is worth every penny to experience it and I would also recommend the DLC as well.

Masterpiece with bugs? Yes, every game has its own flaws or bugs and imperfection makes it human. A perfect cyberpunk game with no flaws would have been "generated" with AI.

Other:
This game will always remind me of me playing it in winter 2024 while my cat was still alive and I had a lot of fun playing it, completed every quest, finished the DLC and enjoyed the story. I lost my cat on the 20th and haven't played cyberpunk since. I avoided touching this game because of the date.

Not as good like the first Subnautica because it is too linear and the biggest thing I didn't like is that some of the component blueprints and upgrades are way too hidden, takes too long to find them. Even some of the mission objectives are too hidden and it isn't always obvious in which direction you have to go. I had to look up some walkthrough because there were no hints and all the mission objectives are in very specific places. It is also pointless to build multiple bases.
The surface area wasn't very well thought out because I used a mech and it was meant to be explored on foot in freezing temperatures.

This game should have been a free DLC expansion to Subnautica.
You will spend most of your time just searching and looking for hidden objects and locations and that's most of the 20-30 hour gameplay if you go in blind. This search interruption ruins the flow of the story and the cure is just a hidden side objective which is very easily missable.

I got fed up because of people who never play as a team.
This game is filled with the worst kind of players who are selfish and never co-operate in a TEAM-BASED GAME!
I have seen players who don't even pay attention to sounds or sound clues, have 0 game sense, don't throw nades when they should or don't look at pinged locations. A lot of players drive like sh!t.
Weapons aren't balanced and in the newest update they greatly nerfed all of the long range sniper rifles, semi rifles.
The animation of movement and climbing is very sluggish.
The weekly challenges are extremely repetitive and boring.
There are too many trashy silly cosmetics and awful looking weapon skins.
You can only play 3 casual games per day which is awful.

The game can be very fun but only if you are lucky enough to join a team who actually play as a team and not solo!

I do not recommend this game for those who are new to source games. This one is only for those who are familiar with Source Engine games. There are a lot of physics based puzzles, some of them are number based which can be very frustrating to some or can take a while to solve them. Those puzzles with numbers are like the equivalent of cracking the code to a safe and it is mandatory to solve them in order to progress forward.

Positives:
-The levels are very detailed with a lot of custom made assets. The underground, tunnels, laboratories & industrial sections are very immersive, realistic. In the later chapters of the game there are old soviet apartments which are also very detailed and realistic. The level design in this game is very good.
-There are a lot of custom weapons which are quite fun to use.
-In the later chapter of the game there is a snow mobile vehicle.
-The soundtrack is also very good.
-The game is about 6 hours long with multiple endings.

Negatives:
-The voice acting is bad and there are even 3rd person scenes.
-The story is not really that good.
-The middle section of the game is very strange, out of place while I understand what they tried to do, I feel like it was executed poorly. (it's kinda like an adventure map straight out of gmod)

Neutral:
-This game doesn't hold your hand which means you are on your own to figure out everything and where you have to go.
-The puzzles with numbers take a long time to solve. I did not have a problem with the puzzles, I figured out all of them with time. However there was a section in the middle chapter where I got stuck and had to look up a walk through video and it wasn't even a puzzle. (I had to turn on the gas stove and take the gas canister from the hall, put it on the stove to clear the cobweb which wasn't obvious, I spent an eternity there trying to light other objects on fire)

Poor Man's Black Mesa
The mod is very short and based on the store's screenshots it looked very promising but it turned out to be very empty, silent and kinda badly made with good quality looking levels.

The Good:
-The Hev suit and the HUD.
-The Black ops and army units
-The original custom made models

The Bad:
-The shotgun sounds bad and also plays bad, they completely nerfed the shotgun. What was wrong with Half-Life 2's shotgun that they needed to change this?
-Friendly NPC's are silent, don't talk and this breaks the whole immersion.
-The intro with the apartment. This felt very out of place, not "half-life-y" at all. It looked very good and creative but a waste of resources.
-The xen scene with the vortigaunts. This was just a copied attempt of Half-Life 1, nothing original.
-Too much clutter in some levels and also not exactly clear what door opens and what doesn't open or what button can be pressed or cannot be pressed. Some levels have way too much brightness.
-Too much is clipped off. There are a ton of invisible brushes, invisible walls. I prefer to bump into the walls and geometry. This is not a competitive multiplayer shooter so why so much player collision clippers?
-No Steam Achievements.

Still early access? Beta? At this point the devs most likely moved on with their lives and this mod has become abandonware. Not worth it unless you are bored and wanna play for an hour.

It's like Portal 2 but slightly worse, not quite that good in terms of gameplay and quality.
The voice acting and narration was good.
The levels were mixed, some good, some bad. On some I struggled because I couldn't see the way I was supposed to go because of clutter, distractions, no hints or indicators. On others I went through easily. On a few levels I used some prop exploits to get around. On one level I went out of bounds where I wasn't supposed to be, that level wasn't clipped off properly.
What I didn't like is that some levels were filled with too much clutter.
There were a lot of old & new aperture props in areas where it didn't really fit so well.
The ending wasn't put together well because the credits rolled in when that final scene was supposed to be shown first.

The mod is okay but based on the experience I had I wouldn't play though this again.
The easy puzzles were fun but the ones were I struggled or got stuck wasn't fun at all, it was frustrating.

I would highly recommend it if you are a hardcore portal fan who is hungry for portal mods with medium difficulty. Depending on how skilled you are, you may go through easily or have struggles, get stuck on some puzzles.

Best Retro Shooter I ever played!
Turbo Overkill is secretly a triple A game with its own original story set in a cyberpunk world which contains:
-A lot of level variety from small to large levels. Each level took about 20-30 minutes to complete with the exception of boss fights. It took 16 hours to complete the whole game which is split into 3 episodes.
-Awesome soundtrack for each level with their own theme. (Cyberpunk themed music with rock, electronic, tech/synth beats)
-Vehicle based levels where you get to drive a flying car, hover bike and a mech!
-Fluid parkour movement with augments that lets you customize how you play. (slide, wall running, double/triple jumping, grappling hook, air strafing)
-A lot of enemy variety and hard, challenging boss fights. (You will feel real adrenaline during the fights)
-It has reply value because of steam achievements and hidden collectibles to collect through out each level.
-It runs well even on older computers since it has an unique pixel graphical style

The only bad things about this game are:
-found some minor bugs where texture fighting was going on
-there are way too many enemies which can be quite overwhelming, especially the weak mobs placed on every single platform and area that you gonna step on. You also gonna have to fight the exact same type of enemies which are hard to kill and be like "oh no! not these guys again >_>"
-the shotguns do not feel powerful compared to other games.
-on some levels and areas you can get out of bounds.
edit* -endless mode is bugged at wave 17 with an unkillable kite enemy.

If you played and liked games liked Dusk, Doom Eternal, Bioshock Infinite, Halo 4 then you will like this one too. It has many similarities to these games and it feels like playing all of them as one! It is absolutely amazing and I highly recommend it if you want to experience being THE BADASS CYBERNETIC CHAINSAW MAN
