Tedious at some times but a good time waster

Its a fun game! Had a great time playing it and streaming it to friends. The P&C aspect of the game is fun and the puzzles make the game fun with all the items needed for different parts of the game. The combat is simple but keeps you engaged and at the start it will be a bit difficult until you understand all the enemies patterns. The backtracking challenges your brain so you have to keep things in mind about where things were and what was needed. The saving is limited to the truck and a few other places so it forces you to play through the parts prior to your death which was a bit frustrating at first but I grew to appreciate it for adding a level of difficulty to the game. The stats also added a bit of variety to the game since you had a choice of how you wanted to play. I went with a dexterity build (Speed/Mind/Strength) which let me attack fast and use spells but lacked health and defense so it was very offensive heavy but offered a reward for being more offensive since I mainly used the hammer. Me and my friends had a conversation about the different stats that should have been invested and a second play-though warranted a tank build (Strength/Defense/Health) which was slower but offered more forgiveness in terms of messing up and lead to less deaths which surely saved me from missing items that I'm sure I sped past trying to get back from fights on my first play-through. The game was refreshing and I'd ultimately recommend it because it is challenging, encourages multiple playstyles, and is overall a fun game.

In my personal opinion, I think that Conan Exiles is a pretty fun single player game, but it thrives when you join different servers with random people or when you are playing it with friends.
-Story: 3/5
Conan Exiles is set in the universe of Conan The barbarian; with that being said, the game doesn't focus on Conan himself, but rather you: the exile! This can be seen in the intro video WHICH YOU WILL SEE 10,000,000 TIMES. With the game being focused on you as a character that lives in this world, most of your story is focused around building the world with a progressive story on how you can escape. [If you're like me and have played this game way too much and "FIRST THEY TOOK YOUR FAMILY AND YOUR RICHES" is burned into your brain and you're tired of it just look up how to disable the video]
-Combat: 4/5
The combat system is pretty solid. Your playstyle is affected by the type of weapon and armor that you choose to use and also how you choose to distribute skill points. There are various enemy types and factions for you to deal with Including exiles (humanoid), animals, and monsters. Most importantly there are a plethora of bosses scattered around the map and in dungeons for you to challenge. [Spiders (or Peter Parkers as we call them) are a thing in this game if that is something you need to know if you have a problem with them]

The building system is very robust and allows you to be very creative with what you make from small starter houses by noob river to huge castles built on the volcano or just some elevators and bridges. You have the ability to build almost anywhere on the map allowing for almost endless opportunities.
-Customization: 5/5
Character creation is pretty good but the real customization is how you choose to build your character's attributes, what type of weapon you choose to use, and how you choose to mix and match different parts of your armor and warpaints.
-Mods: 5/5
The modding in this game is amazing and adds tons of extra aspects to the game. Servers using different modlists feel like unique. Mods can feel like DLC add-ons ranging from simple tweaks, HUD changes, and new crafting items to entirely new weapons, cosmetics with, maps, and even new custom gameplay mechanics.

Fun game to play with friends! Even though there are bots mixed in with actual players in the normal 60 player battle royale mode, it seems to occupy me and my friends interests knowing that there aren't too many immediate dangers that would stop us from enjoying exploring the map and using the unique traversal option available. The only thing that I would recommend is making all maps accessible because there are different traversal methods locked to certain maps. I would also offer up more in terms of customization for characters with there being a bare bones default character to use and "Adventurers" that only have presets to choose from. There are a plethora of guns, attachment, and vehicles to choose from that all have multiple skins that can be unlocked via loot boxes, events, and battle passes.

Good story with fun puzzle segments.

I'd only recommend this game if you wanted to play fiveM, have friends to play with, or had enough vc to buy the criminally overpriced content that is needed for the features.

-Update after being harassed by a group-
The game is not inviting to online solo players for incidents like this. The online community is split between really cool people that will play with you or even help you make money and others that are utter garbage; these people will do nothing but sit there and kill you until you leave the lobby even if you dont engage in hostile activity. You cant even live long enough to report these griefers because for some "smart" reason, R* decided that the player being killed kicks the player off the menu page back into the game they are trying to leave.
