EDIT: it seems they managed to work a lot of the issues listed here. some are still around, but nowhere near the same level.

Played a lot, but can't recommend it. There isn't any one big issue, but rather a bunch of smaller ones that makes the experience suck. Issues with grenades not throwing, guns not aiming, poor hitboxes for objects, and weird consistent ping spikes. Now for the last one, i can confirm it's only with this game. it happens with NO OTHER GAME. i will go from 45ms up to 116ms. It's the servers they use since they use a 3rd party to rent them out. also an issue with frame rate, but could be on my side.
As far as gameplay, i'm not sure how to describe. on the one hand kills are satisfying. on the other hand technical issues like i mentioned and how stupid your team can be can be REALLY frustrating. for the past week across numerous servers, it felt very one sided. could be bad commanders on my team, or really good ones on the enemy's, honestly can't tell.

overall, until the servers are overhauled and hit reg on objects like boxes, terrain, etc is handled, i would pass

with the recent DLC, now is the time to get this if you haven't. Fun, hilarious, and a game you can turn your mind off to, with no micro-transactions of the traditional kind (but still skins :/ )

good game, though i tend to have a frame rate problem.
