there's a lot to like about undertale and listing them all would be difficult, those are just a couple of strong points

gameplay for the most part isn't very challenging - most deaths in combat will be to learning a boss' attack pattern, for example
some puzzles are tedious
game is short - not in particular a bad thing considering the replayability of the game
questionable fanbase that relentlessly pushes skeleton memes
