After playing the game for a few hours, I believe that "Class of 09: The Flip-Side" is SBN3's attempt to kill the series by ending its visual novel iteration on one of the most absurdly grotesque and disappointing entries in the trilogy. Everything that worked in the past two games is essentially absent from the Flip Side. Instead, it focuses more on character assassination and shock value.

Now shock value isn't a new concept within the series, but in the previous games, it always felt like the horrible endings were optional, and you could guide Nicole through the game to get a good ending (good, at least from her perspective). The games before this title felt like they had a healthy mix of good and bad endings. This game lacks any diversity to actually have any profound resolution for Jecka's personal problems that are presented in the game.

Nothing of this game has replay value, and this game has essentially ruined my love for the series, especially knowing that this game really only exists to torture one of the most beloved characters in the franchise.

Listen I know.

I know I should not like this game, but it's the only game I am genuinely good at playing. So, I'll keep playing it until the day its fan base dwindles to where they can't support the servers anymore. That will be my burden. But, I can stop you from making the same mistake. Leave the page, before it's too late!

We beat an eldritch horror to death with a shovel. I was the only survivor and suffered PTSD in-game. (10/10)

I miss having storage space for this on my laptop.

It's all fun and games until you seduce your friend's wife and he's all like "you ruined my bloodline!"

I'd rather play Smash Bros.

My favorite part is when I choose Doctor and stab all my friends with drugs to give them an opioid addiction.

I like it when I get all my tasks done before I get murdered.
