I have 260 hours on this game, I played on the standalone client before steam. I also play most of the mainline gacha games - Genshin, HSR, WuWa, Endfield yada yada.

Honestly, I love this game. I find it very fun. I like grinding for things, I think the character and weapon designs are cool, I LOVE being able to just grind for characters and weapons instead of having it be gacha. The voice acting is great, the story actually really surprised me with how much I enjoyed it and got emotionally invested, the world isn't too big as to be annoying to explore. The music is wonderful. And the new zone is GORGEOUS.

Is it perfect? No. Do I really care? ...also no, not really. The devs actively work to fix issues and implement community feedback. Also the game is free, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

If you're expecting it to be the next greatest thing you've ever played, then yeah, you're gonna be disappointed. If you're just looking for a fun game to play, you could easily find worse.

its 10am and ive just now closed the game. ive been playing for 8 hours. i didnt want to stop but im about to fall asleep in my chair. its so good.

one of my all time favorite games. i almost never get around to getting all the endings in a game, but i did it in this one immediately after my first run was finished. i also just didnt stop playing until my first run was finished, i was completely hooked.

what if overwatch, but actually fun

no credits, not paying or crediting translators, not double checking the unpaid, fan submitted translations so a lot of them are wrong, switch release a buggy mess (still! despite the patches, there are still many game breaking bugs), massive slew of cosmetic DLC, controller support on PC still doesn't work correctly...

honestly, I normally don’t mind cosmetic DLC, but having $150+ worth of cosmetic DLC for a buy-to-play game is INSANE, I’m sorry. I wish I'd known the state of this studio before I'd given them my money and time.

when I closed my eyes I saw xp gems instead of stars

Been a massive fan of every Dragon Age game and this is no exception. The world is gorgeous, I'm absolutely in love with the characters and Rook, and the story, to me, has been GREAT. I'm glad the world isn't bloated by an overly massive open world but still allows for exploration and puzzle solving. The combat is very fun and a massive improvement over the rest of the series, imo.

probably the most relaxing game ive ever played

So charming and cute, so much potential for the future! I LOVE how I don't think I've seen a single duplicate line of dialogue yet when talking to NPCs. The art is beautiful. The potential to get rare colors from animals is so fun. Very happy with this game ♡
