Helldivers 2 is the game you never knew you needed in your life. If you have friends who enjoy Squad gameplay then Helldivers is ready to serve you. From its tongue in cheek parody of the modern military establishment to the downright thrilling gameplay you will not be disappointed with this purchase. Multiple levels of difficulty will increasingly ask more from you and your Squad as you achieve your goals. Dozens of Stratagems and Call Ins make for a vast range of solutions for every problem and must not only be chosen wisely but deployed wisely.

Adding in the Warbonds for Unlockable extra content and an upgrade system for your base of operations alongside an actively changing game scape in the form of evolving combat scenarios that reward service on the front lines is the icing on the cake.

Arrowhead Studios is actively engaged in the games content and constantly tweaks and looks for balance across all aspects of gameplay.

Return to Moria strikes an excellent balance for the casual gamer who wants to explore at their own pace while also presenting complexity in largely optional In Game Mechanics. Never once does it feel overwhelming, or too difficult. Tense, Dramatic and engaging to be sure, but never so brutal that you feel as though you cannot make any progress. Graphically it runs beautifully on PC. There are small moments of stutter here and there ( I attribute these to areas Loading ahead of your Character? ) but otherwise it is wonderfully smooth, textures are amazing and the lighting with the new Content Patch will be even more engaging.

Atmospherically you feel as though you are in Moria just as in the Movies, while the game provides Voice Over for your entry to new Areas there are vocal queues when Enemies approach and from the enemies themselves, also when you discover new Recipes and whatnot. There are even songs for your Mining and Mead drinking to be enjoyed.

Character creation is more robust that I had expected. You get to choose what Region of Middle Earth your Dwarf hails from and it presents costume options relevant to that selection.

All in All, for the Price it is currently on Sale for (less than $30 Canadian) there is no doubt that this game is more than worth its weight in gold!

Given that it is all but impossible to connect to the game without massive amounts of tinkering with Settings on Steam I cannot recommend this game to anyone at this time. I put in 70 hours on the Old Game and managed to get 7 hours of the New Evrima version under my belt. Graphically it's a pretty solid looking experience even if it is currently riddled with Bugs but when you cannot Connect to a Server after a Fresh Install of the Game? Sorry but that's not a 'Hoop' you want to make prospective Players jump through. It's a mess, avoid it for another 8 to 12 Months and see if it might be stable then.

Simply put this game is a hilarious adventure from start to finish, while it feels a little lonely playing Solo it is still a lot of fun. Definitely more so with a group of Friends but in a pinch the Open Lobby will provide you with other Miners readily. A plethora of Biomes, Creatures, Tasks and Mission modifiers make the replay action intense and satisfying. You can't go wrong with Deep Rock Galactic! ROCK AND STONE!

What's wrong with Rimworld? You die a lot. What's Amazing about Rimworld? You die a lot. This game begins so innocently and comes across as entirely genuine. Every pawn has a Story, every Starting Hex has a tale to tell at the hands of your Selected Storyteller. It is not an easy game, it is a very intuitive game that rewards a careful Player with a thrilling tale of Survival on a Rimworld. At first you will die frequently as you try differnt methods or sometimes just due to plain bad luck or a vindictive Storyteller. As you play your skill grows without you even realizing it and soon enough you will find yourself entirely invested in the lives of your pawns as they make their way through the Game together.

This game is much like 'The Sims' in that you will spend hours planning and tweaking things. Ever present is the Temptation to use the Double Speed (Fast Forward) button but I urge you not to unless absolutely nothing is happening in your Colony. Sometimes the most foolish things will cost you a Pawn at least but even then you learn something new and it informs your next attempt. You can easily give hours on end to this game without even noticing you are doing it and every achievement the Colony makes as a whole feels like a triumph of Management for yourself.

At the Price of this Game it is a definite steal. Get it and give it a solid try, I can almost promise you that if you love any sort of City/Settlement Builder Games you will fall in love with Rimworld.
