Combat system is very repetitive and lacks depth. It's basically just button non stop mashing with very floaty/janky combat feel and animation locks. This game is designed for you to tank damage (since there is no proper block and just a parry and if your timing is off it feels extremely awkward - and even if you hit your parry the enemies that swarmed you during the process instantly damage you when you get out of the animation...) but then you can barely heal anything and as such I ran most missions 90% basically nearly dead with ranged weapon out and avoiding melee because the next enemy swarm would just damage me enough to potentially kill me. Melee combat is not even really satisfying since it is primarily just button mashing and hit feedback is very lacking.

Also playing with controller, throwing grenade on B is kind of dumb as aiming that throw is very clunky.

They nailed the atmosphere though and the game gets heavily carried by it's portrayal of the 41st millennia and I'd recommend it for any 40k fan for that alone. Story is okay (shouldn't expect something very deep, but it was enjoyable). Sadly on gameplay alone, I can not give it a recommendation. It's one of those games that I would give a mixed review instead of "not recommend" if steam would allow that.

Do I recomment this game? No... absolutely not. Can it be fun? Yes, sure... if it runs...

Campaign is fine - you shouldn't think too much about it, as with many action movies, it's nice entertainment. I prefer the OG MW series in terms of story but it wasn't bad.

Coop is boring and not really challenging - as someone who usually likes coop games, I was bored pretty quickly. Also you can't enter the missions solo, which makes the mode less accessible for many players as Randoms in this mode are... hit and miss (lets say I preferred it if people instantly left instead of messing up)...

MP is a buggy broken mess... before Season 1, the game had little content with half of it's stuff being either unpolished (graphic said I unlock this weapon with level x, in reality it was another weapon with level y) or broken (constant crashes, especially with nvidia). Map design in Invasion is absolutely terrible, except you love 24/7 sniping spawnkilling. 6v6 has too little content (with weapons even pulled from launch to drip feed), maps in 6v6 are a mixed bag from okayish to instant leave queue... nothing as bad as Piccadilly in MW2019 but that should never be a reference. With Season 1 we are getting 4 cut weapons from launch and 2 remake 6v6 maps (this is nothing compared to the content of MW2019 Season 1), which creates the sour taste in my mouth that I basically payed for Warzone instead of MP and MP is just a byproduct to justify taking money. As I have no interest in playing Warzone or DMZ this is terrible. Did I mention that I have to play DMZ to unlock one of the cut guns from launch... sorry, I meant new guns of Season 1? Yeah, not cool... Oh and it still crashes constantly... after multiple weeks of release and the start of Season 1.

Also a point worth noting: when steam goes into maintenance or you have a short issue in your connection with steam it will kick you out of the game to your Desktop... it's as if they don't even care for their Steam players (I have seen indie games that utilize steam services actively that don't do that crap...).

Will I continue playing this game? Sure, it's fun and stupid, but I really miss the times where AAA shooters where actually about quality and not to just be a store front for Battle Royale and Battle Passes... Will I spend another cent on the game? Surely not... the 70$ are massively overpriced as is!

I somehow can not understand the praise and good reviews this game gets. I've tried to play this game multiple times but it never really clicked with me. I really love stealth games (MGS, Hitman, Thief series, Mark of the Ninja, Splinter Cell, Tenchu, Commandos, Swords of the Shogun) and I mostly enjoy it if I can pull it off to not even knockout a single guard (except the targets if exists of course) without any visual helps.

Perhaps I'm playing this game wrong but this approach doesn't seem to be much fun in this game... most of the gadgets and powers are to kill enemies which moves this game more into an assassin gameplay rather than true stealth. The advantage of other games (like the original Thief games) where that you can't rely on combat - some may seem it as a disadvantage, but that's a matter of taste I guess - it increases the tension in the gameplay that you rely on stealth to proceed rather than forcing your way through and I can't feel this tension in this game. As I said - personal opinion. It just feels boring to me where even the 2014 Thief (which is by far no good Thief game) feels better.

Additionally I really dislike over the top steampunk and the art style, but the main issue I have with this game is the aforementioned gameplay.

Thus: I can't recommend the game for Stealth-Purists at all.

Just tedious. Not hard; not scary; stupidly tedious forced fights; looks horrible; can't really decides what it wants to be (action, horror, comedy (unintentionally though), survival) and thus feels weird; bad characters (flat, uninteresting); bad update system; looks terrible; performance is even worse.

I can't name a single thing I liked about this game (I played other games of the same genre and this is just horrible, can't understand why it's "mostly positive".

Masterpiece, albeit with a few flaws. Sometimes the pathfinding is abit clunky and I often needed to reload the last save because one of my characters stood for some odd reason and raised the alarm (probably my fault, but still annoying). Usual AI retardedness (rince and repeat tactics work like a charm), but all in all - superb and challenging (at least on hardcore) game with around 20-30 hours of playtime (again, hardcore and if you're not rushing it).
