Edit: Between nerfing any good and popular gear, and buffing the enemies while not really improving the less popular gear, as well as this new PSN requirement, it's hard to recommend this anymore. Plus it's a mess on the back end in a lot of cases. Went from must buy to must not.

The game is good, when I can actually play it. But I've spent all weekend opening and closing the game and spent about as much time trying to get into a game and play as I have playing, approximately 4+ hours.

I mostly play Frontlines. It's fun, but also frustrating sometimes. You live or die by your team, and it's very hit or miss. Sometimes you are leading the pack, others you are slaughtered in seconds. I still recommend it, but with some caution. Balance is just a suggestion for this game, the most popular map is a slaughterfest, and people will do anything to win.

It's a good game, but business decisions by the publisher and Steam really make it so I can't endorse this game. (Seriously, paid for mods?)
Edit: They've recently relented on the decision. I have to change my review, but I am going to leave my past misgivings, so people can stay informed.

Alright, so, Skyrim. It's a game where you can do quite a lot. Explore about anywhere, battle your way through draugr hordes, become ruler of a variety of towns, and create your own stockpile of cheese wheels. Freedom is generally a hallmark of these games, mods generally enhance this, which lead to the above kerfuffle.

Anyways. I recommend people play Skyrim, and do your mods research. It's a great time-sink, and the mod variety generally enhances it.

Alright, my experience is a bit mixed, but this game still has some redeeming points. First off, the bad. Matchmaking is a chore, frequently the matches are ridiculously uneven, and nothing is done to remedy it. Some of the class abilities are a bit more overpowered than others, like an invulnerability shield. You have to buy your own grenades. And, the pay to win mechanics are a bit annoying. The good. When you win, you really feel like you are winning. Some of the guns can be sorta fun, if they fit your playstyle. Unlocks seem to come pretty frequent, but that may just be my experience so far, subject to change. Oh, and, use teamwork. A good duo can infiltrate a building on their own.

A wonderful game. The mods are wonderful, and can add whole new layers to the strategy of navigating politics, and combat. Will you flex your diplomacy skills, or earn new lands by combat? I also recommend Sword of Islam, and the new Legacy of Rome. The latter is full of glitches, but they'll probably be sorted soon enough.

Edit: Those issues were mostly sorted. The game's got even more expansions, and they've been balanced by now. Another note about this game: You'll find out what you'd do to retain or gain power in this game, what all you are willing to sacrifice. Murder the heir to the throne to take the young boy's place in succession? Go on a Crusade and conquer enemies of the faith to gain land? Get rid of your illegitimate sons by any means? Carefully influence everyone around you, to prevent your own demise, and push your borders anywhere you can take the land.

TL;DR; 9/10, doesn't really get too old, mods can help if it does. Difficult, but rewarding. Befriend or stab everyone. Expand borders. Hope you don't get doomstacked by Mongols and Aztecs.
