Yeah, the characters are pretty atractive (if your kink is AI generated characters) and they give motivation to level them to show more skin but, as in all F2P gacha games, the higher you rise through the ranks, the harder and greedier the game gets.
Trying to play without spending gems will be worse since all the events have objectives were you either have to spend them to advance or use them to roll the gacha machine (and forget about getting new commanders since they will require a crazy amount of gems to get them without spending real cash).
At least you can set the matches on auto. You will still have the same chances of winning since even the best team you can have will not be enough to beat an unfair system that matches you with players with high leveled units or broken strategies
EDIT: And now we are getting a more unstable game that crashes constantly before or after a match starts with no feedback or even acknowledge from the devs...Now I can't even play it as an idle game since I cannot even fill the crate slots to wait for them to unlock...
