Good but this should be the normal price for 2200 AC.

It is fun but you need friends and don't expect it to be customization heavy cos it ain't, hacking and slashing gets boring after a while so yh, the story really carries it

I only recommend this for RD Online and single player with or without mods, campaign or free roaming. I will never recommend this for RP purposes. If you get this game with that in mind, you will be met with cringe players who just lobby on a porch complaining because someone is bothering them, and you'll end up banned for non rp. Go watch Bub Games, it makes the whole game look so cringe. But outside of that, it's a fun game.

Overwatch 2 is the epitome of a failed gaming community.
1) I face toxic players that use characters with grav pull to stop me from advancing on a map, walling me off as Mei, because they're mad at the game and decide to throw.
2) Instead of Overwatch acknowledging these reports, they instead acknowledge the few times I have said the F word in game chat (not party chat, it's game chat which is ALL chat). By way of this, threatening to remove my "communication privileges". I've been playing this game since 2016 and took a break in 2020 until now.
3) They have removed core gameplay mechanics like Mei's ability to freeze players with her primary spray attack. This in turn, regresses Mei into a widescreen target because of how fat she is. She serves little purpose and they have changed controls and reworked characters like Roadhog, removing his long range gunshots and merging it with his primary attack (short range). They've added random characters that serve no purpose.

They have also got 4 currencies in the game.

1) Overwatch free currency. This does nothing but unlocks very barebones cosmetics like a victory pose added into the game from 2018 March and that one color variation skin from 2016.

2) Overwatch Gold Coins currency. This used to be their go-to currency for any skins and cosmetics. You'd get coins from unlocking lootboxes, which you could achieve by grinding. A system that was a bit tacky in itself, but still allowed you a chance to play as an F2P player and get the stuff other people have, without spending your hard earned money.

3) Esports currency. This is an old currency that they added after gold coins, to help support the esports teams with varying team skins. This is fine, it's your choice and you get some cool trinkets for it. A skin, maybe a spray, ok, cool.

4) The mythic currency... Because they charged you £7 per skin because you pretty much could only pay to get the Esports ones, they thought, why not, let's add another currency. And let's price it so high that we can say -60% and it only brings it down to like 84.99 AFTER DISCOUNT (pack of cat skins for each female hero).

5) They not only have the above but they have this grindy battle pass that does not give you anything important. This is obtained with real money but you can reuse the currencies unlocked within it, to recycle them into the next pass. I consider this a funnelled real life currency since you have to put your time and real money into getting the pass to begin with.

MISSIONS.

Something they promised us since 2016 or 2017, that would come FOR FREE... that we experienced part of with the OVERWATCH ARCHIVES FREE EVENT.... has now been done. But there's a catch. You have to pay money, real money, to unlock missions, about a story nobody gives a F about anymore.

They let you go on the screen for missions, it loads it up, shows you the list, you're winston, in first person, looking at a monitor on a desk with some coffee mug and a banana, you can click these items, they (winston) make a gimmick response by voice, and the lady who says round complete or round loss or whatever is talking to Winston saying "loading mission birefings..." or whatever (paraphrased ofc), you click on hte monitor's mission listings as a result of this voice line and they tell you it's locked and you need to pay to unlock them.

Just for sake of context, I paid for this game on Battle.net when it first launched, I played the beta and the alpha, I was a very committed player for 4 years before taking a break in 2020 til 2024.

I played this Overwatch 2 crap for a couple weeks before coming to this conclusion.
And with everything said... I will be uninstalling this, downvoting it in a review and slandering it every chance I get on the internet, and in person. Since Jeff Kaplan left, everything went downhill.

Should you play this game? The core gameplay is fun, but you can play any other hero based game and find fun in there. So should you really be here playin this game, reading reviews on if you should play?

In the wise words of the Wiseman Paul Heyman, the answer is: No. No. No. No. No. No. NO.

F you Blizzard. You can suck my big toe.
I hate you. You ruined such a good product.
Greedy. Corporate. Jerks.
Thanks for ruining everything we loved about this game.
Truly. Horrible people.

Fantastic gameplay mechanics. Fun game. Feels very modern after playing the remastered collection (3, 4, and then 5). Especially considering Yakuza 0 and Kiwami 1 are not really as modern. Kiwami 2 is great, Yakuza 6 feels like Kiwami 2, but following the story of 5. It's fun! :) Plus u got a kid to hang out wit.

Very fun, and makes me feel like I did when I was a kid playing through the game. All graphics are great, as I used to think back then. And they added a lot of QOL changes, survivors are responsive and every skill and upgrade etc is just a lot more manageable now. Books are done a lot better. Etc.
Everything just feels more freeflow but at the same time you feel like if you needed help finding something, it'll eventually be instructed to you, either by the HUD or your random NPC you are carrying to the safe room.
10/10. Defo recommend.

The game was good until the baseball arc. I really think they overdid it with adding this guy's story in, I was ready for the finale. Doing it anyway, regretting it severely. I'm burnt out on this, but I'm here for Kiryu. I'll update when I beat the game (maybe).

Still to this day I have not beaten this game but I still recommend it cos it's a cult classic.
It has everything you want in a fantasy RPG.
