The game looks fantastic, and the combat system is excellent. Performance had some issues, but with lossless scaling my 4080 Super managed to maintain 120 FPS at max settings, with ray tracing and 4K resolution. Without lossless my game was struggling around 70fps with these settings.

However, the constant push of political messaging in nearly every cutscene - and even during gameplay at times - made the experience unbearable for me. I only played for three hours, but I cringed so hard and so often that I had to pause repeatedly. It wasn’t just disappointing - it was outright sickening. I felt so uncomfortable that I had no choice but to refund the game, and I also convinced three of my friends not to buy it.

It's honestly disturbing to see a game with such incredible potential ruined like this. The Miles Morales game also had these issues, but it just keeps getting worse. Enough is enough.

As a dark souls player, I love this game. 10/10.

What a huge let down tbh

Huge unrealized potential. So many important aspects of this game where they missed the mark completely. Some things are quite baffling and I don't wanna spend time explaining all the stuff they screwed up, but the player numbers speaks for themselves - they lost 80% of the playerbase in 2 months..

I actually like this!! It's quite punishing and a bit clunky at this point in time (so did Dark Souls 1 for me when I first started playing that as a kid), but there's a really cool game here already. Can't wait to start my second session later tonight!

I'm now 15 hours in and I can't longer live normal life without thinking about my next session once every 2 minutes. Play this game, it's actually insanely good. It's exactly what I hoped it would be.
