I bought this for $15 in open access, and it's probably the best $15 I've ever spent. Would definitely recommend at that price, would consider for $30. Where else can you ride around on an octopus, hit orcs with a teddy bear, or play sax to an angry polar bear? Add building your own castles, random brick builds, questing to find the golden bricks, and collecting tons of random objects, and this is probably the best open-world/sandbox game I've played (maybe tied with Skyrim). Can be a little bit of a grind to collect 100 gold bricks, but after that it's a lot of fun and pretty relaxing/entertaining to play.

Graphics can be a little irritating at times, but I'm playing at the lowest settings on a laptop from 2012, so that's my own fault. It can fail to recognize my X360 controller initially but unplugging and replugging usually fix that.

Driving around, playing a weird mix of ice hockey and air hockey is freaking fun. Customizing the crap out of your cars, collecting random add on things, generally awesome. Only flaw is my own poor internet, it's not particularly fun to play against the AI and I'd feel bad about constantly d'cing on people.

Got this last year (2014) during the Summer Sale ($5, definitely worth it) and only installed it in December, so I've been playing for a few months now. Since I didn't spend a lot on the game, would be willing to buy the DLC for reasonable prices (or just the ultimate pack), am waiting to see if they go on sale at all.

Either way, excellent gameplay, story, quests, graphics are great even though my potato laptop can't handle full screen or full detail, still an awesome game. Also the random options you have to carry around weird stuff and bizarre foods/ingredients is pretty fun.
