you might think you're ready but the fact is you're never ready

It feels less Battlefield then the previous Battlefields but it's pretty decent and playable, aside from the occasional bugs so overall that's (one) thumb up from me. Needs a bit of optimization though.

Wish they could optimize the game better (currently running 40-60fps medium settings on i5-8400 and 1070Ti) but gameplay-wise it's very solid- very teamwork oriented.

Quintessential game for VR owners. Slashing action, rhythm game, great exercise, mod support, relatively cheap price, what's not to like?

Great milsim. 9/10.

One point away from being perfect: in-game DLC advertising is super annoying. You're in a firefight, ran out of ammo, went over to enemy / friend to pick up his weapon, but it turned out being a DLC weapon? Nope, you cannot use it.

Sh*t hits the fan and you have to escape using a nearby vehicle, but it turned out being a DLC vehicle? Nope, you cannot drive!

Sucks when that happens.

A great homage for me- last MH game I've played is MHP3rd.

Several points:
+ Character / armor customization is great
+ Monsters feel challenging as per usual
+ Easy to learn, hard to master weapons
+ Exciting multiplayer experience
+ Hundreds of hours of endgame content

- Weapon upgrade feels like the design team just duct-taped the monsters' material to the default weapon. On some cases (i.e. Kadachi Switch Axe) they even just slightly recolored the blade to yellowish. Really? Normal iron switch axe with yellow spray?
- Mute main character.
- Handler is too annoying.
- Story is just a rinse-repeat of "Monsters come, I don't know how, but we gotta fight them"

Not noob-friendly (in a good way)- kinda needs a tutorial for someone who jumps to Payday 2 without any knowledge of Payday series (like me); but after playing for a while you'll get the hang of it. Teamwork is the number one priority... Requires thinking and strategy, not just point and shoot. 9/10.
