Report a translation problem
Today I just woke up, as per usual, studying my 7 languages with Anki decks and when I went inside my kitchen I saw a bottle that had the word 'negro' written on it. I was taken aback, obviously. I asked my mom, the one who had purchased this bottle, why was she racist and started explaining slavery lore to her (it was really bad). She then proceeded to explain to me how this whole 'negro' thing wasn't a racist cover up but was in fact a translation of black in another language. My whole world collapsed in front of me.
You're meaning to tell me around the world the N-word is said millions upon millions of times? I can't stand for this, Spanish must be an incredibly racist language to copy USA lore and use that word. This leads me to the question, is Spanish racist or am I missing something here? What actions am I supposed to take action to prevent this from further spreading around the world?
Thanks all,
Kansai Ben
