Not without its problems, but by now Darktide's visceral gameplay (and playing as an Ogryn) is worth the $40 price of admission for 40k fans and horde shooter enthousiasts. There is enough content here to keep even casual players entertained for 50 hours or more.

One of the best videogames of all time. A vast fantasy realm with an unparalleled amount of exploration, mystery, danger and excitement. Extreme build depth and variety, massive amount of weapons, skills and spells, unforgettable bossfights, an amazing soundtrack -- this game has it all. It's tough, sure, and unforgiving sometimes, and occassionally maybe even a little unfair, but arise now, ye Tarnished, and meet this challenge. You won't regret it.

This remains one of the best modern military shooters, even in 2021. The singleplayer campaign is servicable but the real star of the show is the large scale multiplayer. There are still many active servers and a sizable playerbase. Come join the fun!

The best RPG ever made; a work of art, a masterpiece, a magnum opus, there are not enough superlatives to express just how much of an extraordinary and revolutionary achievement this videogame is in narrative, characterization, worldbuilding and, above all, empathy. Because this is a loveletter to the flawed and broken people of this world who get up every day and keep fighting for things to get better.

One of the best narrative shooters in gaming history. The setting of Columbia and the characters and forces that shape it are fascinating, and I was constantly looking for more morsels of history and background scattered throughout the levels. The gameplay is dynamic, the action exciting and the setpieces dramatic, though I did feel that the original BioShock did a better job at making enemies feel threatening, encounters significant and hard fights rewarding. Fortunately this is more than made up by the mindblowingly awesome and gripping story, which twists and turns like a rollercoaster towards a daring finale that left me speechless. I cannot recommend this enough to all gamers.

Starts crashing relentlessly about 3.5h into the game. Don't bother with this "remaster", just play the original.

Even 14 years after its initial release, BioShock continues to be one of the finest single-player experiences that the industry has to offer. The gunplay is dated but the use of Plasmids during combat means that the gameplay is still dynamic and interesting. It's easy to see where Dishonored got its inspiration from. The story is good, the characters are great, but the real star of the show is Rapture itself -- a chilling, captivating and convincing horrorshow that never ceases to amaze, from its darkest bowels to its grandest sights.

One of the best RPGs ever made. The gameplay can take some getting used to and the crafting system seems daunting at first, but once you get used to it everything makes sense and you realize this game is the pinnacle of videogame design. The story is fantastic, the characters are amazing and the sidequests are the best in any RPG yet -- no boring fetch quests, only good mini-stories and subplots.

The world's best simulation of borderline personality disorder; it's either the utter worst or absolute best game of your life and that changes every other hour.
