This installment of the Civilization franchise has the best gameplay you will find in any Civilization game. Guiding an empire from fledgling tribal city into world spanning empire is amazing, and does not get stale, even over many iterations of founding and building nations. Excellent graphics help add to the game, and the fact that Leonard Nimoy does loads of voicework in the game is great.

Overall, highly recommend the game and the expansion packs for it, including Gods & Kings, and Brave New World, which add new civilizations, scenarios, and units that keep the game interesting...

This game is all that the newest Simcity should have been. You can actually track every citizen in your island nation, in addition to being able to arrest and execute each citizen if you desire. Balancing politics between superpowers, different factions on your island, managing a budget, and building industry add amazing depth to the game.

I would highly recommend this edition to anybody looking into it.

Amazing game. Bloody combat with lots of screaming and death. Good selection of maps. Man at Arms are the worst class though. Don't play Man at Arms. Ever.

Writing this again after three years, I reiterate my main point: ♥♥♥♥ Man at Arms.
